Astragal
Retainers for use within an astragal assembly as described. The astragal assembly has an astragal body with a major axis. The astragal assembly is for use in a double door entryway unit. The retainers include a retention portion configured to engage an entryway component and a mounting portion configured for placement onto the astragal body in a direction normal to the major axis. The retention portion is either a void for receiving at least one of a latch and a deadbolt, or the retention portion is a bolt pin configured to engage an entryway frame.
CONFIGURABLE ASTRAGAL AND SNAP FEATURE FOR FENESTRATION SYSTEMS
An astragal for a fenestration system includes at least first and second slots running along opposite sides of the astragal, each slot is configured to receive a stile of a panel of the fenestration system. The slots may be in different planes or in a common plane, and may be different depths or the same depth. In some embodiments, additional slots are provided in the astragal, on one or both sides of the astragal, and the astragal may be used in various placements and configurations within multi-panel door or window systems. A snap clip may be included within one or more of the slots to engage a stile when received in the slot and secure the panel to the astragal. Covers may fill slots that are not utilized in a particular panel configuration.
DOOR RESTRAINT
A door restraint device includes a support bar and a strap. The support bar is configured to be arranged horizontally and extend across and be supported against a door frame proximate a handle of a door positioned in the door frame. The strap is connected to the support bar and sized to connect to a handle of the door.
Appliance lock assembly
An appliance lock assembly is provided which allows conversion of a residential or static structure-type appliance having at least one door or drawer to be utilized in a mobile structure, such as a recreational vehicle (RV), boat or other mobile environment wherein the at least one door or drawer should be locked to inhibit unintentional opening during mobile operations and scattering of contents from within the appliance. The lock assembly comprises a lock bar which is disposed between a handle and a front surface of an appliance door. The lock bar pivots between an unlocked position, and a locked position wherein the lock bar engages a striker.

Passive Door Bolt Assembly
A bolt assembly for securing a passive door panel relative to an entryway frame. The bolt assembly has a base to be fixedly mounted relative to the passive door panel, a catch attached to the base with a leaf spring to deflect relative to the base, and a bolt which is able to translate relative to the base between a retracted position and an extended position for securing the passive door panel. The bolt is biased toward the extended position and selectively maintained in the retracted position by the catch.
Chassis retention assembly
A retention bracket configured for use with a latch mechanism including a laterally extending housing. The retention bracket includes a first wall, a second wall, a collar, and a deformable section. The first and second walls are longitudinally offset from one another and are structured to receive the housing therebetween. The collar extends longitudinally outward from one of the walls and defines an opening having an effective diameter. The deformable section has a natural state in which the effective diameter is a first diameter, and a deformed state in which the effective diameter is a second diameter greater than the first diameter.
Interlock security device
A mountable interlock security device for securing first and second sliding articles slidable relative to each other from an open position to a closed position such that in the closed position the sliding articles have overlapping interior edges. The security device comprises a first component mountable to the first sliding article and a second component mountable to the interior edge of the second sliding article. The two components of the security device are mounted to the overlapping end regions of respective sliding articles such that when the sliding articles are in the closed position, the two components of the security device cooperate to limit lateral movement of the sliding articles. In another aspect, a method of retrofitting interior and exterior sliding articles, such as doors or windows, of a building with a security device is provided.
Interlock for enclosures
An interlock for an enclosure can include a primary door activator with an activator arm, a secondary door activator, and a rotatable arrangement that links the primary and secondary door activators. The activator arm can block a primary door of the enclosure from being closed when the activator arm is in an open configuration. The activator arm can be configured to rotate with the rotatable arrangement in a first direction towards the open configuration as the primary door is opened, and in a second direction away from the open configuration as the primary door is closed. The secondary door activator can be configured to engage the rotatable arrangement to prevent rotation of the rotatable arrangement when the secondary door is open, and to permit rotation of the rotatable arrangement when the secondary door is closed.
SLIDING DOOR FOOT BOLT
A lock kit for a fenestration assembly includes a panel stop. The fenestration assembly includes a first panel and a second panel, at least one of the first and second panels being slideable relative the other of the first and second panels. The panel stop is configured to pivotably mount within a recess of a frame member of the first panel and pivot between a first stop position configured to maintain the first and second panels in a fully closed position, a second stop position configured to limit sliding of the first and second panels beyond a preset partially-open position, and a third position substantially within the recess, the third position being configured to not restrict a range of motion of the first and second panels.
