LOCK FOR A PET TRANSPORTER
A lock for a pet transporter is provided. The lock includes a gear drive set, at least one pair of lock rods, and a chassis. Each lock rod includes an inner end including a rack portion having a structure for engaging with a transmission gear of the gear drive set, each transmission gear having a structure for engaging with a main gear of the gear drive set such that rotation of the main gear drives rotation of each engaged transmission gear. In use, rotation of the main gear in a first direction synchronously drives the first pair of lock rods into the corresponding lock holes to engage the lock, and rotation of the main gear in an opposite direction synchronously drives the first pair of lock rods out of the corresponding lock holes to disengage the lock.
LATCH MECHANISM, LATCH DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A latch mechanism includes an operation unit, a connection unit extending in one direction and having one end connected to the operation unit, a restriction unit restricting the connection unit such that the other end of the connection unit moves to one side in the one direction, in a case where the operation unit is moved to one side in an intersecting direction intersecting with the one direction, a moving unit connected to the other end of the connection unit, extending in the one direction, and moving from a first position to a second position as the other end of the connection unit moves, and a meshing unit meshing with the moving unit arranged at the first position, and releasing meshing with the moving unit arranged at the second position.
Vehicle storage compartment arrangement
The present invention relates to a vehicle storage compartment arrangement (100), comprising a storage compartment (102) and a cover arrangement (104), said cover arrangement being connected to the storage compartment (102) and slidably movable along a first geometric axis (202) between an opened position and a closed position, wherein said cover arrangement comprises a locking mechanism (106, 406, 506) for connecting the cover arrangement to the storage compartment, said locking mechanism comprising a first (108) and a second (110) locking pin movable along a second geometric axis (204), said first and second geometric axis being substantially perpendicular to each other, wherein the first and second locking pins are controllable between a first state in which the cover arrangement is locked to the storage compartment, and a second state in which the cover arrangement is unlocked from the storage compartment, wherein the cover arrangement further comprises an actuation handle (112) connected to the first and second locking pins by means of at least one pre-tensioned spring (114, 116, 514), wherein said first and second locking pins are arranged in said second state when said actuation handle is moved along said second geometric axis.
Long Throw Lock
A lock with an extended bolt throw comprising a back plate, a locking bolt having a rack gear profile on at least a portion of one side, slidably mounted to the back plate movable between a first position and a second position. An accelerator gear mounted to the back plate movable along an arcuate path between a first and second position. The accelerator gear comprising a curved edge having teeth which engage the rack gear profile of the locking bolt, and an opposing edge having a centrally located notch for engagement of a cam of a lock cylinder. Wherein as the cam rotates about the lock cylinder it engages the notch and urges the accelerator gear from the first position to the second position, which urges the locking bolt from the first position to the second position.
Vehicle rear seat secured storage systems
A vehicle with a rear seat storage arrangement includes a floor, a seat including a seat bottom rotatably coupled to a seat back, and an underseat storage system removably coupled to the floor below the seat bottom. The underseat storage system includes a storage bin and a lockable lid defining a storage compartment. The lockable lid includes a latch configured to selectively lock to prevent access to the storage compartment and facilitate preventing access for removably uncoupling the underseat storage system from the floor.
Method of adapting electronic equipment structure for cable management
A method of adapting an electronic equipment structure for cable management, the method comprising: providing a cable manager having one or more cable finger units extending from a frame, the frame including at least one spine member having an extruded construction and one or more ledges that extend along a length thereof; providing an accessory rod assembly having a base member and an accessory rod, wherein the base member includes a front-facing socket, a rear-facing hook, and a rotatable knob having a threaded end received within a threaded portion at a side of the base member, and wherein the accessory rod has an extruded construction and a generally uniform, at least partially cylindrical, cross-sectional shape; positioning the rear-facing hook of the base member against one side of the one or more ledges of the at least one spine member; rotating the rotatable knob such that the threaded end is wound within the threaded portion of the base member and bears on an opposite side of the one or more ledges of the at least one spine member, thereby clamping the at least one spine member between the rear-facing hook and the rotatable knob; and positioning a proximal end of the accessory rod within the front-facing socket of the base member such that the accessory rod extends therefrom into a cable management space.
Multi-point latching system
A latching system for securing a door to a panel includes a pawl having a first end that is configured to releasably engage a striker on the panel, and a second end opposite the first end having a connector. A pawl connector is connected to the connector on the second end of the pawl. The pawl connector includes a hollow cylindrical body having a longitudinal axis, a revolved outer side wall extending about the longitudinal axis, an open end through which the connector of the pawl is positioned, an opening defined on the revolved side wall of the cylindrical body, and a deformable portion formed on the revolved outer side wall. The deformable portion extends between the open end and the opening. The deformable portion is configured to elastically deform upon inserting the connector through the open end until the connector is non-removably seated within the opening.
Method of installing half-spool accessory in a cable manager
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction. The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.
SASH TILT BOLT AND CHECKRAIL BRACKET SYSTEMS FOR COASTAL IMPACT RESISTANT FENESTRATIONS
Embodiments herein relate to fenestrations, such as windows and doors, exhibiting coastal impact performance. In a first aspect, an impact-resistant fenestration unit can be included having a frame and a bottom sash. The bottom sash can have a bottom rail, a check rail, and opposed stiles and can be configured to pivot inward away from the frame assembly such that the check rail moves away from the frame assembly.
