Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that include a multipoint lock. The multipoint lock may include a horizontally translating lock bolt and at least one vertical translating lock bolt. In addition, the multipoint lock includes a linkage coupled to and configured to translate the horizontally translating lock bolt and the at least one vertical translating lock bolt. Further, the multipoint lock includes a gear mechanism configured to actuate the linkage and to effect translation of the horizontally translating lock bolt and the at least one vertical translating lock bolt.

A locking system provides multiple lockable latching mechanisms that are collectively operable and lockable from a central actuation mechanism. Each latching mechanism can be positioned and actuated independent of the positioning of others of the latching mechanisms. In particular, the latching mechanisms need not be aligned with one another. The system uses flexible connectors between the central actuation mechanism and the respective latching mechanisms. The flexible connectors can have different respective lengths.

A locking system for a door, such as a safe or security enclosure can include at least one locking pin bar assembly having flat locking pins or spades. A lid mechanism includes: a box main body; a lid; a locking element that includes a rod and a rod biasing member; and a flap element that includes a flap main body and a flap biasing member and a box contact portion which is configured to come into contact with the box main body, wherein: when the state of the lid changes from the closed state to the opened state, the pressing inclined surface provided in the rod contact portion of the flap main body presses the pressure receiving inclined surface provided in the rod; and when the state of the lid changes from the opened state to the closed state, the box contact portion of the flap main body comes into contact with the box main body such that the pressing of the pressing inclined surface to the pressure receiving inclined surface is released.

A door latching system provides an arc resistant door for a power electronics cabinet. The door latching system includes a six point latch to secure the door in place against the frame of the cabinet. The door latching system includes two vertical linkages coupled to a door handle mechanism, the door handle mechanism being able to impart a vertical motion to the vertical linkages as the handle is turned. The latching system allows for this vertical motion to then become horizontal motion for closing several latches between the vertical frame of the cabinet and the door.

A modular vault assembly including a plurality of vault modules variable in number and including a primary vault and one or more secondary vaults. The secondary vaults are interconnected in successively adjacent relation and a leading secondary vault is connected adjacent to the primary vault. The primary vault and each of the secondary vaults respectively include a master door and a slave door having a locking mechanism disposable in a locked and unlocked orientation. The locking mechanism of the leading secondary vault is manually positioned in the unlocked orientation from an interior of said primary vault and each of said locking mechanisms of a remainder of the secondary vaults is manually positioned, successively, in the unlocked orientation from an interior of a preceding, next adjacent one of the plurality of secondary vaults. Each master and slave door includes a sensor assembly indicating the locked orientation of a corresponding locking mechanism.
