System and associated methods for advertising from a traffic signal control cabinet

An advertising medium includes a frame enclosing a traffic signal control cabinet. The frame includes opposing rails for each side of the cabinet with opposing inside surfaces of the rails including grooves extending longitudinally along the rail and spaced from each other. A light panel is carried within one groove near, yet spaced from, surfaces of cabinet walls. An advertising panel is carried within a second groove. The advertising panel is spaced from the light panel and on an opposite side from the cabinet wall. A clear protective panel is carried within a third groove and opposite an outer surface of the advertising panel. Tie rods extend between lock devices which are secured to the rails such that removing the frame from its position around the cabinet is prevented. As a result, advertising material may be secured to a traffic signal control cabinet without intruding upon or modifying the cabinet.

The horizontal component is within the track of the door, while the vertical component is selectively attached to the sliding member. The mechanism is changeable from a locked to unlocked position by manipulation by a user at mid-height of the door, and at least one of the locked or unlocked positions is maintained by gravity.

The outward-swing door is on a sidewall of a main housing of the vehicle and has a pivotal end and a distal end opposite to the pivotal end. The outward-swing door is outwardly pivotable about the pivotal end thereof. The apparatus comprises a connecting structure for coupling to a bottom wall of the main housing, a base structure for coupling to the connecting structure so as to locate adjacent the outward-swing door and outside a swing path of the outward-swing door, and a blocking structure demountably coupled to the base structure, at least a portion thereof extendable into the swing path of the outward-swing door for restricting the outward-swing door to open to a predefined maximum extent.

The housing has a first mounting portion adapted for securement to one side of the panel and the flexible line has on one end thereof a second mounting portion adapted for securement to another side of the panel from the first mounting portion. The housing further supports at least one line engagement element, and the flexible line extends through at least a portion of the housing including the at least one line engagement element for selective engagement therewith. In use, the mounting portions may be affixed or attached to opposing sides or edges of the panel, the flexible line drawn taut, and the line engagement element(s) of the housing used to engage the flexible line to hold it in position with respect to the housing.

A system to barricade a door from forced entry is disclosed. The system includes an anchor insertable by a user into a receptacle mounted into a floor on the inside on the door, and a lock affixable to the door. The anchor includes an upper portion designed to connect with the lock, and a lower portion that preferably fits within the receptacle. The lock includes a stop designed to contact the outside surface of the door, and a key plate on the inside of the door. When the anchor is vertically inserted into the receptacle, the upper portion of the anchor engages the key plate of the lock affixed to the door, which in conjunction with the stop prevents the door from swinging outwards. The anchor can be removed from the receptacle when the user doesn't desire to barricade the door.
