Gated barrier with lift lock
The present lift lock is employed on a gate that is swingable and liftable on a first axis. In a first position the lift lock is on the first axis and in a blocking position that prevents the gate from being lifted relative to a barrier having the gate. The lift lock is slideable away from the first position on the axis to a second position away from the axis where the lift lock is in an unblocking position, thereby permitting the gate to be lifted on the axis. The lift lock snaps into and out of the second position.
SECURITY DOOR MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT
A security door mounting arrangement for a safe (10) including a substantially rectangular-shaped block for the body (20), having a base (22), a rear wall (in the direction (23), a pair of side walls (24) and a top (25), all defining the cavity (21), and an opening (in the direction (26)) defined by a door jamb (27). A hinged door (40) includes a locking assembly (60), including a crank assembly (62). The crank assembly (62) includes a central crank (63) comprising a disc plate substantially parallel-planar with a main panel of the door (40). The crank (63) is operable by a handle installed on the front face of the door (40). The handle and the central crank are rotatable together coaxially and about a common axis A.
Animal crate assembly
A crate assembly includes a plurality of members defining an interior of the crate assembly, where the plurality of members includes a front, a back, a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side. A frame is formed in one of the plurality of members, the frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that define a door opening. A door is pivotally coupled to the frame about a pivot wire of the frame to move between an open position and a closed position. A latch assembly is pivotally coupled to a horizontal wire of the frame. The latch assembly includes a wire having a first end, a second end and a transverse portion, the wire forming a first portion defined between the first end and the transverse portion and a second portion defined between the second end and the transverse portion.
Animal crate with swing or drop door assembly
A door assembly for an animal enclosure includes a frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that defines an opening for an animal to pass therethrough and a door having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires and being coupled to the frame. The door is disposable between a closed position and an open position. A latch assembly is coupled to either the door or frame, and removably couples the door to the frame in the closed position. A blocking member is coupled to the door and located between at least two adjacent wires of the plurality of interconnected wires of the door. The blocking member is disposed adjacent to the latch member such that a portion of the latch member is in contact with the blocking member in a rest position.
Gate latching system
The present invention is a gate latching system for use in securing a pair of cooperating stock gates together. A preferred embodiment of the invention employs a pair of latching devices for securing a pair of overlapping stock gates together in a closed position. An alternate embodiment of the invention is designed with an extended arm for securing a pair of stock gates closed when the stock gates do not overlap. Both pairs of latching devices are designed so that one of the latching devices is bolted to one gate and the other latching device is bolted to the other gate. Each latching device has a u-shaped receiver for receiving a horizontal member of the opposite gate. The horizontal members enter the u-shaped receivers by lifting one of the gates as the gates are being closed and are secure therein by a lid that closes over one receiver.
LIFT-TURN DOOR
A door assembly includes a door positionable within an opening defined in a wall, a bottom seal mounted to one of a bottom of the door and an underlying surface to generate a sealed interface at the underlying surface when the door is in a closed position, and a linkage operatively coupled to the door and actuatable to lift the door upwardly relative to the underlying surface and thereby separate the bottom seal from the other of the bottom of the door and the underlying surface.
MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
A motor vehicle door lock, particularly a motor vehicle bonnet lock, provided with a locking mechanism which substantially consists of a rotary latch and a pawl. The locking mechanism interacts with a striker element on a bonnet. The lock according to the invention further has an unlocking/opening mechanism for the bonnet, which mechanism is equipped with a release element provided in the interior of a motor vehicle body. It is required to operate the release element preferably twice to open the bonnet. According to the invention, the locking mechanism is transferred to a pre-latched position after the release element has been operated at least once, with the striker element still being trapped. The bonnet is opened from said pre-latched position by a movement in its longitudinal direction.
WINDOW ASSEMBLY HAVING HORIZONTAL CLOSING FUNCTION AND VENTILATION FUNCTION
The present disclosure relates to a window assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal close-fitting function, and more particularly to a horizontal close-fitting window assembly for implementing crime prevention and security functions by preventing a window from being open even in a ventilated state with the outside in which the window is slightly open and conveniently opening the window. The window assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal close-fitting function includes a window sash, a window frame in which the window sash is installed to slide, a handle rotatably installed on the window sash, a latch provided on a side surface of the window sash and operatively connected to movement of the handle to move in up and down directions, a latching guide that is provided on the window frame at a relative position facing the latch and by which the latch is or is not latched depending on a position of the latch, and a horizontal movement device provided on at least one of a top surface or a bottom surface of the window sash and operatively connected to the handle to cause horizontal close-fitting or horizontal close-fitting release of the window sash depending on movement of the handle, wherein the latching guide includes a first latching region positioned at an upper part, a second latching region located lower than the first latching region while being spaced apart from the first latching region, and a separation space provided between the first latching region and the second latching region, and a vertical central line of the first latching region and a vertical central line of the second latching region are displaced from each other, and when the latch is located in the first latching region or the second latching region, horizontal close-fitting or horizontal close-fitting release of the window frame is inducted, and when the latch is located in the separation space, the window sash is slidably moveable with respect to the window frame.
Locking device for opening and closing lid
A main body case is provided with an opening and closing lid supported in an openable and closable manner by a spindle at one end portion thereof as well as slidably attached in a direction orthogonal to a length direction of the spindle; a pair of unlocking knobs slidably arranged along a front surface of the opening and closing lid; and a locking portion formed on a main body case side that puts the opening and closing lid in a locked state by locking a step portion on a free end portion side of the opening and closing lid by sliding operating the opening and closing lid in one direction in a state where the opening and closing lid is closed.
