20220099306 · 2022-03-31 · ·

The present invention relates to a cooking appliance which includes at least a muffle defining a cooking cavity, a frame and a door hinged to the frame. An aperture is provided in the frame for gaining access to the cooking cavity, the door allowing the aperture to be selectively opened and closed by means of a rotation of the door around a rotation axis. The cooking appliance further includes a latch assembly configured to establish a releasable engagement between the frame and the door when the door is in the closed position, the latch assembly comprising at least a latch member and at least a latch receiver having respective engagement portions. One between the latch member and the latch receiver is applied to the frame adjacently to a first side of the aperture, the first side of the aperture being the side of the aperture farthest from the rotation axis V, whilst the other between the latch member and the latch receiver is integral to an insert coupled to the door and is applied adjacently to a first side of the door, the first side of the door being the side of the door farthest from the rotation axis V.

Latch assemblies to secure a door, drawer, or other enclosure are disclosed. An assembly may include a latch and a catch. A latch arm is bendable to transition between an engaging position and a disengaged position. The latch may include a curved flexible support to provide a desired resistance to bending of the latch arm, and the flexible support may be vertically separated from the latch arm. The latch may be made of a unitary piece.

Storage container and floating latch

A storage container includes a base having an interior storage volume, a lid, and a latch configured to move between an unsecured position in which the lid is movable from the closed position and a secured position in which the lid is retained in the closed position. The latch is configured to extend through an aperture defined by the lid and the base. The latch includes an extended edge to prevent the latch from passing entirely through the aperture. The latch is captured by the lid and floats within the lid portion of the aperture. The latch also includes a resilient portion configured to engage an opening in the base portion of the aperture to selectively retain the lid and the body in the closed position when the latch is in the secured position. The latch is not permanently attached to the base or to the lid.

The invention is directed to a latch assembly for use with a top cap for connecting the top cap to a container body. The latch assembly includes a latch having a latch body with a planar portion and an arcuate portion. A snap hook and a pull tab is connected to an end of the arcuate portion. The latch also includes a clasping portion for securing it to a ramp on the top cap and a spring element.

Sash window restrictor

A sash window restrictor (20) has a housing (22) which is to be let into a vertical frame member (10) of one sash (normally the upper, outer sash) of a window, at a position, say, 10 cm above the top rail of the lower sash when the windows are closed. A tab (24) is mounted in the housing and can be retracted into the housing or extended from the housing. A mechanism acts between the tab and the housing and allows the tab to be pressed into the housing and held in the housing for a period of time before the tab is released to allow the tab to extend. With the tab extended, the lower sash (12) can be lifted until it reaches the tab (24) but no further, so that a 10 cm gap will be opened at the bottom of the window.

LOCKING SYSTEM AND A METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING AND USING THE SAME

CLOSING APPARATUS FOR USE WITH A MULTI-PIECE, HINGED, HYDROPONIC TOWER

A tower closing apparatus is provided that is configured to simplify the closing of a multi-piece, hinged hydroponic tower. The hydroponic tower closing apparatus utilizes a collection of static and continuously moving components (e.g., motor driven drive rollers, alignment rollers, tower body alignment rollers, face plate manipulation rollers, face closing rollers, etc.) to close a hydroponic tower as it passes through the apparatus. In particular, as the tower is driven through the closing apparatus, a series of face plate manipulation rollers gradually rotate the face plate(s) relative to the tower body, moving the face plate(s) from a fully open position to a partially closed position. Next a series of face closing rollers continue to rotate the face plate(s) from the partially closed position to the fully closed position, forcing the fasteners to latch the face plate(s) into position.

Lock mechanism and bus bar module

A lock mechanism includes: a lock portion that protrudes from a ceiling wall (wall portion) of a cover and has a locking claw provided on a tip side; a lock receiving portion provided in a case and formed with a locking hole; and a flexible deformation portion which is a portion of a predetermined range in the vicinity of the lock portion on the ceiling wall (wall portion) of the cover and has flexibility higher than a portion outside the predetermined range, and is bent such that the lock portion is tilted so that the locking claw gets over an edge of the locking hole when the locking claw is locked to the locking hole, and after the locking, biases the lock portion in a pulling direction that pulls the locking claw together with the locking hole by a restoring force of bending.
