MAINTENANCE WINDOW LOCKING DEVICE
20220403681 · 2022-12-22 ·

A maintenance window locking device is disclosed, including a maintenance window body, a maintenance window cover, a fastening plate, a first limiting mechanism including a groove, and a roller. The fastening plate includes a fastening plate body and a pin which are of an integrated structure. The pin is rotatably connected to the roller. The maintenance window body is hinged to a first end of the maintenance window cover. The fastening plate body is rotatably connected to a second end of the maintenance window cover. The first limiting mechanism is located on the maintenance window body. The fastening plate body drives the maintenance window cover to move toward the maintenance window body. The roller rolls along the first limiting mechanism until the roller is clamped into the groove, such that the maintenance window cover and the maintenance window body are tightly attached.

Hinge

A hinge includes: a vehicle body-side hinge member that includes a vehicle body attachment portion for attachment to a vehicle body; a back door-side hinge member that includes a door attachment portion for attachment to a back door and a coupling portion extending from the door attachment portion toward the vehicle body-side hinge member, the coupling portion including a reinforcing rib on both edges in a width direction intersecting an extension direction of the coupling portion; and a rotational support member that couples an end portion, at a side of the vehicle body-side hinge member, of the coupling portion together with the vehicle body-side hinge member, and that supports the vehicle body-side hinge member and the back door-side hinge member so as to allow relative rotation of the vehicle body-side hinge member and the back door-side hinge member.

Aircraft emergency door and method of operating the same

There is disclosed an emergency door positionable in an exit opening of an aircraft. The door has door supports mountable to the lower wall and each having a pivot point. A first pivot axis is defined between the pivot points. A block is mountable to the lower wall and is offset from a center of the lower wall. A door body is mountable within the opening to the door supporting structure and pivotally mountable to the door supports. The door body is pivotable about the first pivot axis from an initial position in which the door body is within the opening, until the door body is disengaged from the door supports. A bottom portion of the door body abuts against the block to define a removal pivot point. The door body is pivotable about the removal pivot point to remove the door body from the exit opening.

Variable friction hinged device

The description relates to hinged devices, such as hinged computing devices. One example can include first and second portions that rotate around a hinge shaft that is fixedly secured to the first portion and rotationally secured to the second portion. The second portion defining a first contact surface spaced apart from a second contact surface. Multiple friction clips friction fit around the hinge shaft and rotating with the hinge shaft between the first contact surface and the second contact surface.
