HINGE MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A hinge mechanism includes a first member, a second member, and a stopper mechanism. The stopper mechanism has a path and a moving member. The moving member is provided in the path. The path includes a first path part and a second path part. The first path part is located in the first member. The second path part is located in the second member. The first member and the second member are changeable between a first communication state, a non-communication state, and a second communication state depending on a turning angle of the second member relative to the first member.
Gate
A gate comprises a spring-loaded hinge arrangement defining a rotational axis. A gate structure having a first support arm connected to a first end of the hinge arrangement is also provided. The gate structure is rotatable about the rotational axis. A spring-loaded hinge arrangement includes an outer hinge tube fixedly connectable to an adjacent structure and an inner hinge tube received in the outer hinge tube. The inner hinge tube has a first portion and a second portion movable with respect to each other, the second portion of the inner hinge tube being fixed with respect to the outer hinge tube and the first portion of the inner hinge tube being fixed with respect to the support arm.
Biased hinge for equipoising support equipment
A support arm having a proximate support arm segment, a distal support arm segment, a hinge system; and at least one rotation limit stop secured to the hinge system to limit the extent of angular motion of the proximate support arm segment, the distal support arm segment or both, with respect to the hinge system. The rotation limit stop includes a first stop component and a second stop component slidable with respect to the first stop component. When the second stop component encounters a contact point on one of the support arm segments, the angular motion of the arm segment with respect to the hinge system is at a maximum. The second stop component can be secured in a plurality of positions with respect to the first stop component by an adjustment component.
Furniture hinge for increasing jumping length of furniture door
A furniture hinge mounted between a furniture wall and a furniture door so as to be used as an opening and closing mechanism of the furniture door, in which, by using the movement part provided on the body part of the furniture hinge and the adjustment part provided at the movement path of the movement part, the entire length of the furniture hinge is changed by advancing and returning the movement part in the opening and closing process of the furniture door such that, since the furniture wall and the furniture door do not come into contact with each other even though the furniture door is completely opened, the peeling damage to the exterior of the furniture is prevented and contact noise is eliminated, thereby improving the satisfaction of consumers.
Hinge for a Flap of a Motor Vehicle
A hinge for a flap of a motor vehicle includes a flap element which is designed to be secured to the flap. A pivoting element is designed to be secured to a body of the motor vehicle such as to be rotatable about a hinge axis, wherein in a first location the flap element is connected to the pivoting element so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis, and in a second location, which is offset relative to the first location, the flap element is connected to the pivoting element via a releasable securing element. A spacer maintains a distance between the pivoting element and the flap element in an installed position, in which the securing element is released and the flap element is rotated relative to the pivoting element about the rotational axis in comparison to a normal position.
MIRROR SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A mirror system includes a base mirror assembly and an adjustable mirror assembly. The adjustable mirror assembly is coupled to the base mirror assembly. The adjustable mirror assembly includes an adjustable hinge system that facilitates movement of the adjustable mirror assembly relative to the base mirror assembly. The adjustable hinge system includes a first bracket, a second bracket, a hinge, and a third bracket. The first bracket is coupled to the base mirror assembly. The second bracket is coupled to the first bracket. The hinge is coupled to the adjustable mirror assembly. The third bracket is coupled to the hinge and the second bracket. The third bracket is coupled to the second bracket via a first screw such that the base mirror assembly is coupled to the adjustable mirror assembly. Rotation of the first screw causes movement of the adjustable mirror assembly relative to the base mirror assembly.
Concealed hinge for a turn-tilt window and such a window equipped therewith
A concealed hinge for a turn-tilt window with a fixed frame and leaf includes of a pair of scissors with a first arm and second arm, that are connected by a central hinge and which are hingeably connected by a first end to a mounting slat that is intended to be mounted on the frame, and have a hinge at a second end for coupling to the leaf. The first arm is connected by its first end to the mounting slat with a fixed frame hinge with a peg fastened to the mounting slat and the second arm is connected by its first end to the mounting slat by a shiftable frame hinge with a peg that is shiftably affixed in a guide slot of the mounting slat, whereby in the closed situation of the scissors, the mounting slat serves as a support for the tilting movement of these scissors.
FITTING FOR MOVABLY MOUNTING A PIVOTING ELEMENT RELATIVE TO A STATIONARY SUPPORT
A fitting for movably supporting a pivoting element relative to a stationary carrier includes a first fitting portion and a second fitting portion pivotally connected to the first fitting portion via a hinge lever. The first fitting portion includes a base body and a bearing body adjustable relative to the base body, and the hinge lever is supported on the bearing body. A first adjustment device is provided for adjusting the bearing body relative to the base body in a first adjustment direction, and a second adjustment device is provided for adjusting the bearing body relative to the base body in a second adjustment direction transverse to the first adjustment direction. The two adjustment devices are coupled to each other such that the bearing body, upon an adjustment in the first adjustment direction, is also entrainable at least partially in the second adjustment direction.
COMPACT HINGE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
Disclosed is a silent, soft-close compact hinge comprising of a hinge cup pivotally connected to a hinge body via a hinge arm. A set of coil springs biases the hinge to a closed position. A damping mechanism is removably attached to the hinge cup and acted on by the hinge arm. A set of spring sleeves are fitted to the coil springs to insulate the movement of the coil springs on the hinge arm providing the closing bias. The hinge body is comprised of three separate plates adjustably connected to each other with cam screws. The position of the hinge body with respect to the hinge arm is adjustable in three directions without the need for removal or loosening of mounting hardware used to attach the hinge body to a furniture piece.
WINDOW OR DOOR WITH A PRECISELY CONTROLLING, BUT FLEXIBLY USABLE, SASH STOP MECHANISM
A window or a door has a fixed frame and a sash movable relative to the fixed frame. The sash is supported on a running rail of the fixed frame via at least one carriage with at least one roller. The sash can be moved transversely/perpendicularly to the main plane of the fixed frame by a control arm, wherein a roller part of the carriage moves in a straight line with respect to a sash part of the carriage. The control arm is supported on the fixed frame via the roller of the roller part and/or via a support part. The control arm is actuated by the longitudinal movement of a drive rod, the movement imparted via a pin, which is guided in a slot. The slot guides the pin on both sides with both control flanks, except for the play necessary to move the pin in the slot.
