Releasable Hinge
20170362868 · 2017-12-21 ·

A releasable hinge system having a first component having a circular hinge pin and an arcuate guide fixed thereto. The system further includes a second component having a u-shaped member having an annular groove concentric with and matingly received by the hinge pin. The second component also has an arcuate channel received by the arcuate guide. The method of assembling a hinge includes the steps of providing a first component having a hinge pin and an arcuate guide. The method further includes the step of providing a second component having a u-shaped member having an annular groove concentric with the hinge pin. The second component having an arcuate channel. The method also includes the steps of orienting the first and second components at an angle of 60° relative to each other, causing the u-shaped member to receive the hinge pin, and enabling the second component to rotate within the annular groove about the hinge pin.

Disassemblable hinge with a safety catch

The invention relates to a disassemblable hinge (1) having a latching member (2), adapted to be associated with an openable door (20), and a hinge member (3), adapted to be associated with a corresponding door frame (21). The latching member (2) comprises a main body (4) and a catch (5), wherein said main body (4) comprises a hinge slot (6) adapted to receive said hinge member (3), wherein said catch (5) is rotatably engageable with said hinge member (3) around a first axis (A1). The catch (5) is movable between a closed state and an open state, and into a disengaged state. The catch (5) and said hinge slot (6) defines a space (14) for housing said hinge member, wherein said catch (5), in its closed state, locks said hinge member (3) in said space (14). The space (14) is expanded when said catch (5) is moved from said closed state to said disengaged state. The catch (5) is moved from said disengaged state to said open state by rotating said catch (5) around a second axis (A2), thereby releasing said hinge member (3) from said space (14). Thereby a disassemblable hinge is provided enabling a secure opening operation in a two step maneuver.

Vehicle door lock apparatus

A vehicle door lock device includes: a housing having an opening; a coupling member configured to be coupled to an operation mechanism arranged on a door; an operation lever arranged inside the housing and coupled to the coupling member through the opening; and a cover capable of opening and closing the opening and a coupling point between the coupling member and the operation lever. The cover is separate from the housing and assembled to the housing to be mountable on and demountable from the housing and rotatable between opened and closed states. Each of the housing and the cover includes: a temporary retaining mechanism to temporarily retain the cover in the opened state when the cover is assembled to the housing in a rotatable manner; and a full retaining mechanism configured to retain the cover in the closed state when the cover is rotatably assembled to the housing.

INTEGRATED HINGE STRUCTURE

An integrated hinge structure is disclosed herein, comprising a hinge shaft provided on a first connecting member and a hinge arm provided on a second connecting member, the hinge arm being rotatably connected to the hinge shaft, wherein a coupling structure is formed between the hinge shaft and the hinge arm, the coupling structure allowing the hinge arm only to be installed to or detached from the hinge shaft in a certain direction and allowing the installed hinge arm to rotate for any angle or freely while staying connected to the hinge shaft. Furthermore, the hinge shaft and the hinge arm are respectively formed integrally on the corresponding connecting members, providing a simple and firm structure.

The tire spiker with an extendable handle may comprise a pair of spike portions pivotally connected by a spring loaded hinge adapted to hold the spike portions in a deployed U-Shaped configuration to be deployed in front of and behind a tire in a traffic stop. An extendable handle on the frame may have a release button adapted to release a latch holding the spike portions together in a carry configuration. The spring loaded hinge urges the spike portions in a spaced, parallel orientation for surrounding a tire in a deployed configuration. The tire spiker with extendable handle is moved to a position whereby the two spike portions are in front of and behind a tire. The spike portions have upward oriented spikes adapted to puncture the tire if the tire rolls forward or backwards.

CABLE SUPPORT SYSTEM HAVING MULTI-POSITION PARTITION
