RECESSED PIVOT HINGE
The present disclosure relates to a recessed pivot hinge for hingeably fastening a door leaf in a door frame, including a pivot; a fitting sleeve in which the pivot is fitted in a height-adjustable manner; a socket which is fastenable in a recessed manner in the door frame or forms part thereof; and a fastening body, to be recessed into the door leaf, for fastening in the door leaf;
wherein provision is made for an end of the pivot to be drawn into the socket using magnetic elements of the pivot and the socket; and where the fitting sleeve is fastened in the fastening body so as to be adjustably displaceable in a first direction (X), transverse to the height direction (Z), and in a second direction (Y), transverse to the first direction (X) and transverse to the height direction (Z).
Pin-Less Captive Hinge Assembly for Compact Combination Electrical Panel Safety Monitor and Test Point
An assembly includes a cover receiving frame having a first hinge portion thereon, the first hinge portion having a generally c-shape and a plurality of alternating supports positioned along a bottom portion of the first hinge portion. The assembly further includes a cover having a second hinge portion thereon for interconnection with the first hinge portion. The second hinge portion includes an elongated member for fitting generally within the c-shape and a plurality of alternating cutouts positioned along the elongated member. The assembly is assembled by positioning the cover parallel to the cover receiving frame and rotating the cover until it is captive.
HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE LID AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREFOR
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet having a top panel that defines an aperture for selectively accessing a treatment chamber defined within the cabinet. A lid is rotationally operable relative to the aperture of the top panel between open and closed positions. Hinge assemblies extend between the lid and the top panel. The hinge assemblies include a first hinge assembly. A second hinge assembly is selectively retractable into the lid to a retracted position. A biasing member biases the second hinge assembly out to an extended position. At least the second hinge assembly is operable to the retracted position to bypass a portion of the top panel to define an installed position where the first and second hinge assemblies are engaged with respective hinge receptacles of the top panel.
Hinge for a removable vehicle door
In at least some implementations, a hinge for a vehicle door includes a door hinge adapted to be mounted to a vehicle door and a body hinge adapted to be mounted to a vehicle body. Either the door hinge or the body hinge includes a hinge pin, a void is defined by the other one of the door hinge or the body hinge that does not include the hinge pin, and a retainer is movable relative to the void. The hinge pin is received in the void in an assembled state of the hinge, and the retainer overlaps a retaining surface in an advanced position of the retainer to inhibit removal of the hinge pin from the void. In this way, the vehicle door may be releasably retained on the vehicle body.
Hinge for a removable vehicle door

Either the door hinge or the body hinge includes a hinge pin, a void is defined by the other one of the door hinge or the body hinge that does not include the hinge pin, and a retainer is movable relative to the void. The hinge pin is received in the void in an assembled state of the hinge, and the retainer overlaps a retaining surface in an advanced position of the retainer to inhibit removal of the hinge pin from the void. In this way, the vehicle door may be releasably retained on the vehicle body.
Hinge and System for Detachably Connecting a Door to a Frame
The invention relates to a hinge for releasably connecting a door to a frame, including: a frame part for fastening to the frame, a door part for fastening to the door, a hinge pin having a pin axis and a locking element. The frame part and the door part are movable relative to one another along the pin axis between a pivoted position and an installed position; in the pivoted position the frame part and the door part are connected to one another in such a way that the frame part and the door part are pivotable relative to one another about the pin axis between an open position and a closed position. The locking element is adjustable between a locking position and a release position, and the movement of the frame part and of the door part relative to one another along the pin axis from the pivoted position into the installed position is positively inhibited by the locking element the locking position and is freed by the locking element in the release position, the locking element being retained on the frame part or on the door part so as to be adjustable between the locking position and the release position.
COUPLING SYSTEM
A clip assembly is provided for a storage system, and includes a receiver clip and a floor clip. The receiver clip includes a base section and a support section, the support section having a main surface and a pair of arm extensions extending from opposing edges of the main surface to define a receiving region. The arm extensions each define a guiding ramp and a securing cavity. The floor clip includes a lower section and an upper section, the lower section comprising nobs extending from sidewalls thereof. The securing cavities of the receiver clip are configured to receive and retain at least a portion of the nobs of the floor clip so that the floor clip is hingedly connected to the receiver clip by the nobs, and the floor clip may pivot relative to the receiver clip between an open position and a closed position.
Manufacturing method of vehicle door hinge and vehicle
A vehicle door hinge that has a desorption function while enabling weight reduction and increasing production efficiency. The vehicle door hinge comprises a base member (2U) fixed to the door-side of the vehicle, a base member (3U) fixed to the vehicle body side; a hinge shaft (4U) rotatably connects the base members (2U, 3U) to each other; a screwed body (5U) that is detachably screwed in the axial direction to the hinge shaft (4U) so that the base member (3U) and the hinge shaft (4U) rotate integrally; bushes (6U, 7U) fitted into a shaft holes (22U) of the base member (2U) so that the base member (2U) and the hinge shaft can rotate relative to each other; and a retaining portion (8U) for preventing the hinge shaft (4U) from coming off from the shaft hole (22U) of the base member. The base members (2U, 3U) are cast from aluminum alloy.
Freezer with releasable door hinges
A freezer appliance includes a cabinet defining a food storage chamber. A door is positioned on the cabinet and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The door is rotatably and releasably coupled to the cabinet by a hinge. The hinge includes a first hinge arm fixed to one of the door or the cabinet, a second hinge arm pivotably joined with the first hinge arm, and a carrier fixed to the other of the door or the cabinet. The second hinge arm is releasably received in the carrier, such that the door is detachable from the cabinet.
Coupling assembly for coupling a wristworn device to a strap
A sleeve for use in an assembly for coupling a wristworn device to a first end of a strap. The sleeve has a first end dimensioned to be received in the recess in the inner face of the first lug of a wristworn device, an inner cavity dimensioned to receive therein the first end of a conventional spring bar, and a retractor coupled to the sleeve for urging the first end of the spring bar towards the second end of the spring bar. The second end of the spring bar is coupled to the second lug, the spring bar is coupled to the strap, the first end of the spring bar is positioned in the inner cavity of the sleeve and the first end of the sleeve is coupled to the first lug. A removable retractor for use with a spring bar, which allows for the use of a plurality of spring bars and therefore, lends itself to widespread use and retrofitting of an assembly that couples a strap to a wristworn device, is also provided.
