A chute safety system for selectively enclosing a bovine in a calf shoot by selectively closing a rear gate assembly behind the bovine. The chute safety system comprises an entryway at a rear portion, a first side enclosure, a second side enclosure and a front gate assembly at a front portion, a trigger foot plate assembly and the rear gate assembly. The chute safety system can comprise a bovine enclosure defined by a space between the rear gate assembly, the first side enclosure, the second side enclosure, and the front gate assembly. The rear gate assembly comprises a rear gate crossbar having a crossbar distal end and a crossbar proximate end, a crossbar hinge and a crossbar rotational axis.

DOOR MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A door monitoring system may include an optical sensor that may generate sensor signals indicative of a field of view of the optical sensor. The field of view may include at least part of an interior vehicle floor in front of a vehicle door. The system also may include controller that receives the sensor signals and that detects a presence or absence of one or more persons and/or objects within the field of view of the optical sensor. The controller may change a speed at which the vehicle door moves based on the presence or the absence of the persons and/or objects that are detected responsive to detecting the presence or absence of the persons and/or objects.

Door positioning system

An apparatus comprises a baseplate configured to be coupled to a door movable between an open position and a closed position. A motor with circuitry electrically coupled to the motor, and configured to be in communication with a remote computing device. At least one proximity sensor is electrically coupled to the circuitry and configured to determine the door position with respect to a door frame. A drive wheel is coupled to the motor and the circuitry. The drive wheel has an external surface, and the external surface of the drive wheel is configured to rotatably contact a ground surface. The motor is configured to be remotely activated by the remote computing device to actuate the drive wheel to rotatably contact the ground surface to reposition the door responsive to receipt of a signal.

Method for Operating a Door and Components Related to the Same

A method of operating a door system includes sensing a user on an exterior side of a door panel in physical propinquity to the lock such that the lock transitions from a sleep state to an active state, authenticating the user when the lock is in the active state before converting the lock from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration, and converting the lock from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration in response to transition to the active state. Authenticating the user includes receiving an authentication signal from a remote device on the user in physical propinquity to the to the lock.
