Emergency vehicle door opening system
An emergency vehicle door opening system includes a vehicle assembly with a body having an opening therein to allow passenger entry. The opening has a front edge, a rear edge, a top edge, and a bottom edge. A door is pivotally coupled to the body adjacent to the front edge and is positionable in a closed position closing the opening or in an open position exposing the opening. The door has an inner edge positioned adjacent to the front edge and an outer edge positioned opposite of the inner edge. An opening assembly is mounted on the vehicle assembly. The opening assembly is mounted on the vehicle and moves the door from an ajar position to a fully open position when the opening assembly is actuated. The outer edge of the door moves at a speed greater than 30 mph when the opening assembly moves the door.
Apparatus and method of controlling tailgate using rear-view camera in vehicle
A method of controlling a tailgate using a rear-view camera in a vehicle includes: supplying power to an electric device or an accessory of the vehicle, switching the rear-view camera to a switch mode if the vehicle is in a predetermined state, confirming whether or not brightness of an image captured by the rear-view camera becomes lower than a predetermined range for a predetermined time, confirming a change of brightness of the image using at least one tail lamp or another lamp installed adjacent to the rear-view camera if the brightness of the image becomes lower than the predetermined range for the predetermined time, and opening the tailgate if there is no change of brightness of the image.
DOOR POSITIONING SYSTEM
An apparatus comprising a baseplate configured to be coupled to a door configured to be positioned in an open door position, a closed door position, and a plurality of door positions in between the open position and closed position; a motor; a circuitry electrically coupled to the motor and configured to be in communication with a remote computing device; at least one proximity sensor electrically coupled to the circuitry and configured to determine the door position with respect to a door frame; a drive wheel coupled to the motor and the circuitry, the drive wheel comprising an external surface, the external surface of the drive wheel configured to rotatably contact a ground surface; and wherein the motor is configured to be remotely activated by the remote computing device to engage the drive wheel to rotatably contact the ground surface to reposition the door responsive to receipt of a signal.
Panel configurable access door
An access door may include a core, first and second stiles defined along opposites sides of the core such that the core between the first and second stiles defines a recessed pocket with each of the first and second stiles defining a channel therein extending longitudinally along an inwardly-facing edge thereof, bottom and top elongated panels each defining tongue members at opposite sides thereof and configured to be received transversely in the recessed pocket with the tongue members received within the channels defined along the inwardly-facing edges of the first and second stiles, wherein, with the top and bottom elongated panels received in the recessed pocket, exterior faces of the first and second stiles, exterior faces of the top and bottom elongated panels, and an exposed surface of the recessed pocket between the top and bottom elongated panels define an exterior surface of one side of the door.
Swing door operator operable in powered and powerless mode
Provided is a swing door operator (110) for moving a door leaf (120) between a first position and a second position. The swing door operator (110) is arranged to operate in a powered and a powerless mode and comprises a permanent magnet DC motor (310). The motor (310) is arranged to move the door leaf (120) at least from the second position to the first position in the powered mode. The swing door operator (110) further comprises a mechanical drive unit (320), arranged to move the door leaf from the first position to the second position in the powerless mode. In the powerless mode, at least one resistive device is electrically connected in parallel with the motor (310) and arranged to limit a current generated by the motor (310) in response to the movement of the door leaf (120) from the first position to the second position by means of the mechanical drive unit (320). A method for controlling the swing door operator is also provided.
Device for Opening/Closing a Door of a Washing Machine, Particularly for Washing Equipment Used in the Field of Pharmaceutical Research and/or Pharmaceutical Production, and Machine Comprising Said Device
A washing machine adapted for washing equipment used in the field of pharmaceutical research and/or pharmaceutical production is described, which includes an inner compartment and a front wall having a door allowing access to the inner compartment and a device for opening/closing the door, the device for opening/closing the door includes components for imparting a lateral rotational-translational motion to the door relative to the front wall, thereby effecting the opening/closing action.
Two-door cage trap with over-center set mechanism
A cage-type animal trap with two opposed animal access openings that can operate in a one-door-opening configuration or a two-door-opening configuration. The trap has a set mechanism for holding one or both doors open to allow access through the corresponding trap access openings. The set mechanism includes a set lever that is movable from a set position to a tripped position and that is coupled to the doors of the trap by an actuating member. Upon actuation, the set lever moves from the set to the tripped position to allow movement of the actuating member which enables one of the doors to move from an opened position to a closed position when the trap is operating in a one-door-opening configuration, and both of the doors to move from the opened position to the closed position when the trap is operating in the two-door-opening configuration.
