Multiple Door Closer Installation System
Concealed door closers are found in most commercial building and serve a useful purpose in controlling the closure of exterior entrance doors. The correct placement and installation of a door closer presents an arduous challenge for an installer who is often faced with uneven surfaces upon an active construction site. The related art relies upon the use of plumb bobs attached to upper door frame components and measuring implements placed upon ground surfaces. The task is so difficult that special training is required and specialist in the art are often employed install door closers. The presently disclosed embodiments comprise a jig system allowing for one or two door closers to be correctly positioned without the use of external or hand held measuring implements. An optional laser mounting system vitiates the need to attach lasers to door closer spindles.
Pocket door guide
A pocket door guide having a first arm for extending into a pocket slot and seating against an inner side of a wall component that defines a side of the pocket slot and a second arm connected to and extending transversely from the first arm for seating against an end of the wall component. The arms are connected together to form an apex. A roller assembly having a roller is mounted to the second arm and protrudes, or is adjustable to protrude, beyond the apex. The roller assembly includes a roller base having axle supports mounted to the roller base and an axle extending through the axle supports and roller. The roller assembly can slide along the second arm and has fasteners engaging the roller base for fixing the roller assembly at a selected position. The second arm joins the roller base with a dovetail ridge and mating dovetail slot.
Hood Mount Assembly
A hood mount includes a bracket, a plunger assembly, and a receiver assembly. The bracket includes a plurality of recesses and is adapted to be mounted to one of a vehicle body or a hood. The plunger assembly includes a plunger including a tapered surface and is adapted to be mounted to the other of the vehicle body or hood. The receiver assembly includes a body defining a tapered seat, a pair of apertures extending through the body, a pair of rods extending through the apertures, and a plurality of bushings fixed to the rods. A portion of the plurality of bushings are received in the plurality of recesses. In a first position, the tapered surface of the plunger is spaced apart from the tapered seat of the body. In a second position, the tapered surface of the plunger contacts the tapered seat of the body.
SLIDING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED MECHANISMS
Example embodiments provide a sliding system with improved mechanisms. According to embodiments, the sliding system may include a drive mechanism, a frame, a supporting device, and a connecting device. The drive mechanism is configurable to move a sliding panel along at least one track. The frame may house at least a portion of the drive mechanism. The supporting device may be detachably connected to the frame. The connecting device detachably connected the drive mechanism to the sliding panel.
ARRANGEMENT FOR MOVING AT LEAST ONE COVERING ELEMENT
An arrangement has a guide device within a cavity of a furniture part, a support to be moved along the guide device, and a pivoting device. The covering element can be mounted so as to be pivotable on the support by the pivoting device. The arrangement has a stabilizing device by which the covering element, during a movement along the guide device, can be held at a predetermined distance from the guide device and/or from a wall of the fixed furniture part. The wall delimits the cavity, wherein the stabilizing device comprises a coupling element which to be coupled to the covering element in each position of the covering element.
SPRING HINGE EQUIPPED WITH AN ASSEMBLY TOOL
A hinge of the type including two coaxial, overlapping constitutive wings, each of the constitutive wings being constituted by a body having an ogive profile in which a cavity is internally obtained, wherein one of the constitutive wings carries a pin of smaller diameter in a stable engagement inside the cavity, surrounded by a spring, the pivot and the spring being suitable for engagement with the cavity of the other constituent wing, the coaxial constituent wings having on the base surface of the internal cavity a tangential groove for housing the terminal appendage of the spring.
Vehicle door device
A vehicle door device includes first and second link arms each including a first pivotal connection point to a vehicle body and a second pivotal connection point to a door of a vehicle, and a drive unit that opens and closes the door based on an operation of a link mechanism formed by the first and second link arms by using at least one of the first and second link arms as a drive link and pivoting the drive link. The drive unit includes an actuator that outputs drive torque, and a transmission mechanism that transmits the drive torque to the drive link disposed at a position separated from the actuator. The transmission mechanism includes a torque input portion that inputs the drive torque to the drive link, and a power transmission member that forms a transmission path for the drive torque in a state of extending between the actuator and the torque input portion and has flexibility to enable transmission of the drive torque in a bent state.
Lid opening/closing device
A lid opening/closing device includes: a base member provided with an opening; a lid configured to open/close the opening; and a positioning portion configured to position at least a vertical position of the lid relative to the base member at a closed position of the lid. The positioning portion includes an engagement recess portion provided to the base member in a recess shape, and an engagement projection portion provided to the lid in a projection shape and configured to be engaged with the engagement recess portion at least in an up-down direction at the closed position of the lid. The engagement recess portion includes a rib extending in the up-down direction at the closed position of the lid. The rib is engaged at a distal end thereof with the engagement projection portion at the closed position of the lid.
