20170183900 · 2017-06-29 ·

A shower door hinge mechanism (201) for a half-height shower door, operable to lift the shower door (203) to remove any contact between the bottom seal element (209) and the shower floor area (203). The hinge mechanism (201) comprises first and second co-operable hinge parts (204, 205) mountable to a shower door (203), and a manually-operable element (206) engageable with at least one of the first and second parts (204, 205) such that operating the manually-operable element (206) causes one of the first and second parts (204, 205) to be moved into a raised position relative to the other. Shower door apparatus (202) comprising the hinge mechanism (201), and a shower door installation (301) comprising the shower door apparatus (202). A method of enabling a shower door (203) to be lifted to enable rotation of the shower door (203) free of contact with the shower area floor.

A lockable enclosure includes a housing and an access door. The access door includes a hinge portion connected with a first side wall of the housing and is pivotable about the hinge portion between closed and open positions. When the access door is in the closed position, the hinge portion of the access door is slideable for sliding movement of the access door between a latching position in which a first latch portion of the access door engages a corresponding second latch portion of the housing to secure the access door in the closed position, and a release position in which the first interlock portion disengages from the second interlock portion to permit pivoting movement of the access door from the closed position to the open position. The access door further comprises at least one locking feature configured to secure the closed access door in the latching position.

A panel door with a swing/link arm system attached to a base coupling point with upper and lower connectors coupled to a column attached to the panel door. The former assembly creates a unique geometry that allows for easily raising and lowering a panel door. Further, it includes raising and lowering the panel door using a linear actuator or a hydraulic cylinder. The oversized doors must be stabilized using a truss or a W-stabilizer.
