Window assembly with movable pane
A window assembly may include a pane movable between open and closed positions, a cam having a cam surface, and a cam follower coupled to the movable pane for movement relative to the cam surface and engageable with the cam surface when the movable pane is near or in the closed position. The cam surface may be inclined toward a seal to direct the movable pane into the seal when the movable pane moves into the closed position. The cam surface may include a linear portion that extends along at least a majority of the path of travel of the movable pane. The cam follower may remain engaged with the cam surface throughout a desired portion of the path of travel of the movable pane.
Guide rail for a window lift and door system for a vehicle door
A guide rail for a window lifter for raising and lowering a window pane or door system for a vehicle door having a carrier and at least two guide rails disposed on the carrier. The guide rails include a guide profile that can be twisted or bent for guiding an adjusting part of the window lifter coupled to the window pane along an adjusting direction predetermined by the guide rails and the guide profile includes a base and two legs protruding at obtuse draft angles from the ends of the base, such that the size of the draft angles is proportional to the bending or twisting of the guide rails prescribed by the kinematics of the retraction of the window pane over the adjusting travel of the window pane.
HOLDER AND VEHICLE WINDOW PLATE WITH HOLDER
A holder which can be used in common for window plates different in thickness and in which an adhesive is less likely to be localized and overflow when a vehicle window plate is fitted in place.
A holder 103 is to be attached to a vehicle window plate 102 via an adhesive 305, and the holder 103 is characterized by comprising a bottom 201, a first side 202 and a second side 203 facing the first side 202, to form a concave in its cross-sectional view, and having an elastically deformable flexible portion 204 extending from an end of the first side 202 in parallel to the first side 202, wherein the first side 202 has a first inner surface 301 and a first outer surface 302, the flexible portion 204 has a second inner surface 306 and a second outer surface 307, the first inner surface 301 an the second inner surface 306 are present in the same plane, and the flexible portion 204 has a first convex part 308 extending from the second inner surface 306 toward the second side.
WINDOW CLAMP AND ASSEMBLY FOR WINDOW REGULATOR
A window clamp and assembly for an automotive window regulator assembly. The window clamp provided features a body foundation and a U-shaped bridge extending from the foundation configured to deflect away from the foundation to allow a window panel to be inserted into a slot of the window clamp. Claws formed on the bridge pass through and interlock with holes in the window panel to secure and support the panel. Shoulders formed on and protruding from the bridge guide the window panel into position and aid in supporting the panel. The window clamp design facilitates rapid and accurate assembly of the window clamp assembly while providing increased stability of the window panel and reduced size of the window clamp.
Door opening/closing device and vehicle door module
A door opening and closing device includes: a resin-made base attached to an inner panel of a door; and a transfer mechanism provided on an interior side of the base, and transferring power to a locking device via a power transfer cable, wherein the base includes first and second parts in which the transfer mechanism and the cable are disposed respectively, and a fixing portion fixing an outer casing end portion of the cable, and wherein the first and second parts are configured to locate at different levels so that the second part is positioned closer to an inner side than the first part in a width direction, a step portion is provided between the first and second parts, and the fixing portion is provided in the step portion.
Frameless window regulator rail with over-molded functional edge
A window regulator module for a motor vehicle includes a pair of window regulator rails operably coupled to one another via at least one cable wrapped about pulleys on the window regulator rails. Each window regulator rail has a body extending lengthwise between opposite ends. The body has a main body portion and a guide edge along which a lifter travels upwardly and downwardly. The main body portion is plastic and the guide edge is metal. The metal guide edge provides the window regulator module with increased stiffness and increased cross-vehicle stability to a window carried by the lifters.
LIFTER PLATE ASSEMBLY WITH FORE/AFT GLASS LOCKING CONFIGURATION
A lifter plate assembly for a motor vehicle window and method of assembly thereof is provided. The lifter plate assembly includes a main body having a rail guide hook for sliding receipt of window regulator rails. A pair of opposed spring fingers are disposed in the rail guide hook for biased engagement with the window regulator rails. A resilient cushion supports the spring fingers against yielding to maintain the spring fingers in biased engagement with the widow regulator rails. A window bracket is configured for fixed attachment to a window and has a tongue configured for sliding and snapping receipt in a receptacle of a window retainer plate of the main body. The receptacle has ribs or grooves and the tongue has the other of grooves or ribs, wherein the ribs and grooves interdigitate with one another to prevent relative fore/aft movement between the window bracket the window retainer plate.
Isolated fixing system for actuators
An isolated fixing system for attaching an actuator to a vehicle door including an actuator fixing clip having a head portion, an engagement portion, and a guide portion, an isolation grommet with a flange and a receiving portion configured to engage the fixing clip, and a receiver integrated with the actuator to secure the actuator to a vehicle. The system may include an actuator fixing clip, a head portion, an engagement portion, and a guide portion of the actuator fixing clip that may be configured to engage an opening in a vehicle door and that, when inserted into the vehicle door, may be rotatable via the head portion from an unlocked position to a locked position, fixing the actuator to the vehicle door.
Motorized drive system, use of the drive system for actuating a door, and method for producing a drive system
Provided is a motorized drive system for actuating a door, including at least one gear having a spindle axis and a drive axis, wherein the gear assembly is designed to convert a rotational movement about the drive axis into a rotational movement about the spindle axis; at least one spindle assembly having a threaded spindle which can be rotated about a spindle axis, wherein the threaded spindle is mechanically coupled to a part of the gear assembly that can be rotated about the spindle axis, and at least one drive assembly for driving the threaded spindle with a drive shaft, wherein the drive shaft is mechanically coupled to a part of the gear assembly that can be rotated about the drive axis.
