Door opening and closing apparatus
A door opening and closing apparatus includes a rail module including: a rail member extending along a front-and-rear direction; a drive device mounted on the rail member; and a supporting member coupled to one end portion of a closing cable the other end portion of which is connected to the drive device and one end portion of an opening cable the other end portion of which is connected to the drive device. The rail module is provided with the drive device fastened to an outside of a vehicle body such that a part of the drive device goes inside the vehicle body through an opening provided on the vehicle body. A portion of a housing of the drive device located outside the vehicle body closes the opening while a sealing member is interposed therein.

REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING A DOOR OPENING DEVICE
A refrigerator equipped with a door opening device that can be triggered to facilitate door opening when a door handle is moved by a user in either of the two permitted opposite directions. A first link member is coupled to the door handle and can be rotated in the same direction as the door handle. A second link member is coupled to the first link member. The second link member is configured to be rotated by the first link member when the door handle is rotated in one direction, and to remain stationary when the door handle is rotated in another direction. When door handle is rotated, the first or the second link member can cause a slide member to slide out of the refrigerator door partially to press against the main body, thereby opening the door.

Door Latch With Opening And Closing Mechanical Advantage
A door latch which provides leverage to the door in both the closing and opening operations of the latch's door handle. The door latch has a door axle attached to an edge of the door and a striker is attached to the cabinet. A latch pivoting component has a base bearing journaled to the door axle and a handle attached to the base bearing for manually rotating the base bearing about the door axle. A cam is attached to the base bearing and is engageable with the striker by rotation of the base bearing. The cam includes a closing cam segment and an opening cam segment. The opening cam segment engages and slides along the striker as the latch pivoting component is rotated in an opening direction of rotation. The closing cam segment engages and slides along the striker as the latch pivoting component is rotated in a closing direction of rotation.
