Dual door control for farm implement

A door control system for a farm implement with a storage bin having a discharge opening and a door movable by a drive mechanism between open and closed positions relative to the discharge opening includes a dual position door control system. The system includes at least two controllers at spaced positions relative to the door and coupled to a drive mechanism for opening and closing the door.

Sensing manual drive operation of a movable barrier

A movable barrier operator is provided that includes a motor coupled to a movable barrier to move the movable barrier, a computing device which controls movement of the motor, a manual drive coupled to the movable barrier to move the movable barrier, a ring coupled to move with the manual drive, and a sensor that senses and communicates rotation of the ring to the computing device. In response to receiving the sensed rotation of the ring, the computing device prevents operation of the motor to move the movable barrier.

A foot operated door opener comprises a front panel, a rear panel and an anti-slippery structure formed on the front panel. The front panel and the rear panel are connected and pivotally rotated through a hollow connecting tube of the front panel and two fixing tubes of the real panel. The present invention provides user's foot enough tension or fiction to easily flip or rotate the front panel from the rear panel in a folded or unfolded condition and push or pull the door along with the foot. The door will be hence opened simply by user's foot without their hands touching it. This could benefit the user with both hands holding and carrying stuffs and also could prevent germs or bacterial infection by not touching the door.

There is provided a device to rotationally secure a member with respect to a base. The member is connected to an axle having an ellipse-shaped cross section through an elliptical or truncated-oval cavity for receiving the axle. As the member rotates, different tensions are experienced by the spring based on the orientation of the ellipse-shaped cross section with respect to the orientation of the cavity, thereby providing preferred orientations for the rotating member.

An operating mechanism for plug-type rail car doors includes first and second links connected to respective rotatable first support bars of the door. The links include respective elongated slots at least partially overlapping with one another, wherein each slot receives a respective cam. The cams are rotatable together about a rotational axis which is eccentrically arranged relative to both cams. An actuating lever is connected to the cams to enable an operator to rotate the cams about the rotational axis. The actuating lever is movable such that the first and second links are retracted relative to one another to simultaneously rotate the first and second support bars, and such that the first and second links are extended relative to one another to simultaneously counter-rotate the first and second support bars. A gear train may be provided between the actuating lever and the cams to reduce the necessary manual operating torque.
