A method to conceal a locking safe in a furniture piece is provided. A lifting device is positioned within a hollow furniture piece. A locking safe is positioned on a platform of the lifting device wherein the locking safe is concealed within the hollow furniture piece. The locking safe is covered with a top of the hollow furniture piece. The lifting device is signaled to raise the locking safe to a position above the hollow furniture piece. A lock on a surface of the locking safe is opened to access the contents. The lifting device is signaled to lower the locking safe into a concealed position within the hollow furniture piece.

The present invention comprises: a depositing section; a withdrawal section; a first storage unit which is installed within a storage housing that is lockable, the first storage unit being used in at least one of depositing processing of the sheet and withdrawal processing of the sheet; an attachment section which detachably attaches a second storage unit to an outside of the storage housing, the second storage unit being used in at least one of the depositing processing and the withdrawal processing and storing the sheet in a state of being isolated from an outside of the second storage unit; a transport unit which transports the sheet among the depositing section, the withdrawal section, the first storage unit, and the second storage unit; and a control section which controls the transport unit to perform at least one of the above two processing.

A furniture apparatus including a frame, a movable facade configured to transition between an open state and a closed state; and a hidden container configured to rest on a set of support ledges attached to one or more of the frame and an unhidden container optionally associated with the furniture apparatus such that the hidden container is configured to be visible when the movable facade is in the open state, and the hidden container is configured to be hidden from view when the hidden container is installed in the furniture apparatus and the movable facade is in the closed state.

An indoor safety shelter appearing to be one file cabinet or a sset of file cabinets is disclosed constructed with bullet-proof armor plates mounted on an interior support frame which protects one or more persons inside the shelter both from being discovered by and being harmed by an armed intruder in the case of a home or office invasion. The shelter can be assembled and disassembled on site from the interior of the structure providing for the ability of one or more persons protected inside the shelter to detach the plates if the bullet-proof door to the shelter, which is locked from the inside, becomes obstructed. The interior frame of the shelter has castors which allow the shelter to be moved.

A system and method for responding to a triggering event occurring on a premises includes accessing a vault compartment of a vault located on the premises to retrieve a responder tool kit including a ballistic vest, a portable communication device, and a defense device for use in responding to the triggering event. A controller located in the vault compartment is in communication with a monitoring station located off the premises and a biometric authentication device located external to the vault including a bioscanner such as an iris scanner for collecting biodata to authenticate a person external to the vault as a qualified rapid responder. The controller at the time of authenticating the qualified and authorized rapid responder outputs an alarm signal to the monitoring station, alerting the monitoring station to contact emergency services, and unlocks the vault to provide access to the responder tool kit located in the cage assembly.

A system and method for responding to a triggering event occurring on a premises includes accessing a vault compartment of a vault located on the premises to retrieve a responder tool kit including a ballistic vest, a portable communication device, and a defense device for use in responding to the triggering event. A controller located in the vault compartment is in communication with a monitoring station located off the premises and a biometric authentication device located external to the vault including a bioscanner such as an iris scanner for collecting biodata to authenticate a person external to the vault as a qualified rapid responder. A fireproof safe cover designed to provide protection against fire, excessive heat, and smoke for safes such as gun safes used for storing valuable items. The cover includes a rear wall, side walls, a top surface, and a zippered front surface and can be slipped directly over a safe in a closed orientation with front surface zippered/fastened. The zippers mounted along opposing edges of the front surface can be unfastened for easy access of the safe in an open orientation. The cover is available in different sizes and colors and is made of fire-resistant material to safeguard the safe and its contents. The rear wall of the cover has openings for electrical wiring, and the cover can be personalized with embroidered logos or indicia. Firearm storage systems and related methods and apparatus. In some embodiments, the system may comprise a firearm storage structure configured to store one or more firearms therein; a panel coupled to an interior surface of the firearm storage structure; and one or more rods. The rod(s) may be configured to be received in a barrel of a firearm. The rod(s) may further comprise a tip configured to penetrate the panel. The panel may be made up of a material that is configured to removably receive the tips of the rods with each of the rods extending into a barrel of one of the firearms so as to allow the firearm(s) to be stored in an upright position within the firearm storage structure.
