Method for Providing Security for a Transfer Point
The disclosure relates particularly to a method for providing security for a transfer point for at least one receiving apparatus, performed by one or more apparatuses, the method comprising: receiving state information at least characteristic for the presence of at least one person and/or at least one object at the transfer point; checking whether the state information meets a security requirement; and outputting or causing outputting of an activation signal only if the state information meets the security requirement. Further, the disclosure relates to a vehicle for use as a transfer apparatus for at least one transfer point, to a transfer point and to a system and a computer program.
Access barrier, related devices and related methods
An access control device includes a primary access barrier configured move between a closed position and an open position. The primary access barrier may be configured to extend into an access passage of the access control device to prevent access through the access passage when in the closed position and to move away from the access passage to permit access through the access passage when in an open position. An entry access barrier is positionable in the access passage of the access control device on a first side of the primary access barrier, and an exit barrier is positionable in the access passage of the access control device on a second side of the primary access barrier opposite the first side. Systems and methods relate to access control devices.
MOVING DOOR SYSTEM SYNCHRONIZED WITH PEDESTRIANS PASSING THERE-THROUGH
A portal apparatus for securely controlling passage is described. The apparatus uses a passageway which includes at least two moveable door panels that operate in conjunction with at least two sidewalls including at least one linear sidewall. The apparatus includes position sensors for tracking a position of a subject passing through the passageway and determining a rate of movement of the subject. While the subject is walking through the passageway, each door panels is controlled to move at the determined rate of movement of the subject.
Ballistic shade system
The present invention relates to a ballistic shade system which provides a means for rolling up and down ballistic material and holding it in place during a ballistic event.
SAFETY ACCESS TO A ROOM
A safety access to a room in particular a class room with a safety lock, an entry from outside and an exit to the room, comprising a first door in the exit and a locking door which renders the locking chamber lockable.
High traffic flow robotic portal for secure access
Electro-mechanical and electronically controlled access devices are described for controlling access to a building, premises or area in a secure manner such that a subject who is deemed ineligible for access will be barred entry. The devices contain multiple rotatable and moveable door panels. The door panels can be controlled by various drive mechanisms in order to control the passage through the device. The direction of flow through a device according to these embodiments is electronically controlled and may be changed at any point in time. At any instant in time, the flow through the device is unidirectional. Multiple devices can be stacked together to form clusters, which can be controlled according to traffic, time of day, or other factors.
Controlling use of electronic devices
An ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP) emitter can be positioned to introduce an EMP burst or series of EMP bursts into a passageway, such as a passageway providing access relative to a secure area. The EMP burst or series of EMP bursts can be introduced into the passageway at an intensity configured for rendering inoperable an electronic device, such as a device capable of data storage and transport through the passageway. Such an arrangement may be used for the prevention of theft, sabotage, or release of data maintained within the secure area.
SECURITY, MONITORING AND SAFETY SYSTEM WITH CONTAINMENT AND METHOD OF USE
A safety enclosure, detention, and surveillance system with a walled enclosure with impact resistant walls, an entrance door and exit door located in an inner scanning chamber, a storage chamber located in inner scanning chamber, an x-ray metal detector with a conveyor belt, a walkthrough metal detector, a gas ionization explosives detector, and a weapons depository unit. The inner storage chamber further contains an air conditioning unit and a sedation material unit for storage and release with ports to access the inner scanning chamber by which the sedation dispenser can pump sedation material from the storage chamber into the inner scanning chamber and render a threat incapacitated.
Secure exit lane door
A door system includes a corridor sized to allow humans to move through the corridor, the corridor having a first door located at a first end; a second door located at the second end; a controller operatively connected to the first and second doors for controlling the first and second doors; a first sensor oriented to detect an object on the floor, the first sensor operatively connected to the controller and a second sensor oriented to detect an object above the floor in the corridor wherein the second sensor is operatively connected to the controller and the controller is configured to one of: a) turn off the second sensor when the first sensor detects an object on the floor and b) not respond when the second sensor detects and object above the floor when the first sensor detects and object on the floor.
