SLIDABLE LOCKING DEVICE
A slidable locking device is described that enables rotational movement like a hinge and also provides for selective locking. The slidable locking device may include a fixed hinge part, a rotatable hinge part, and a slidable hinge part. The fixed hinge part may include a first set of protrusions and openings. The slidable hinge part may also include a second corresponding set of protrusions and openings. The rotatable hinge part may also include a third corresponding set of protrusions and openings. The slidable hinge part may be slidably coupled to the fixed hinge part. The rotating hinge part may be rotatably coupled to the fixed hinge part. As the slidable hinge part moves longitudinally with respect to the fixed hinge part, the second set of protrusions and gaps alternatingly align with the first set of protrusions and gaps. This action may define a locked position and an unlocked position.
DOOR CONTROL UNIT
A door control unit for controlling the actuation of a door. In at least one example, the door control unit may comprise a drive unit which is designed to output actuation signals for a door, and a computer unit which has a connection with the drive unit and is designed to communicate with an actuating unit for the door, wherein the computer unit furthermore is designed to operate an operating system which utilizes a software module for the communication with the actuating unit.
Assembly for adjusting an adjustment element relative to a stationary portion of a vehicle
An assembly for adjusting an adjustment element relative to a stationary portion of a vehicle, in particular of a vehicle door relative to a vehicle body comprises a drive motor for electromotively adjusting the adjustment element and an electrically actuatable locking device for locking the adjustment element with the stationary portion of the vehicle in a closed position, wherein the locking device has a locked condition in which the locking device is locked relative to the stationary portion for blocking the adjustment element in the closed position, and an unlocked condition in which the locking device is unlocked for adjusting the adjustment element relative to the stationary portion. A control device serves for controlling the drive motor and the locking device. It is provided that the control device is formed to actuate the drive motor for executing a diagnostic routine, while the locking device is in the locked condition.
MAINTENANCE SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A GATE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A GATE DEVICE
A maintenance system for monitoring a gate device includes the gate device having a gate guide, a gate segment which is movably supported in the gate guide, and a sensor which monitors a gate guiding quality. A method for monitoring the gate device includes the gate device having a gate guide, a gate segment which is movably supported in the gate guide, a sensor which monitors a gate guiding quality arranged at the gate segment, and a maintenance unit. The method includes, when a movement of the gate segment occurs, detecting a vibration value and/or an acceleration value of the gate segment via the sensor, and transmitting the vibration value and/or the acceleration value as maintenance data to the maintenance unit.
Door operation management system
A door operation management system (100), method and computer program product for controlling operation of a door (1), the door operation management system (100) comprises at least a first movement sensor device (10a, 10b, 10c) arranged at the door (1), for determining a movement of the door (1); and a processing circuitry (102a, 102b) operatively connected to the at least first movement sensor device (10a, 10b, 10c) configured to cause the door operation management system (100) to obtain at least a first sensor data (dd1, dd2, dd3, dd4) from the at least first movement sensor device (10a, 10b, 10c); and determine at least a first state (st1, st2, st3, st4) of the door (1) based on the at least a first sensor data (dd1, dd2, dd3, dd4).
Method for operating a vehicle barrier
In a method for operating a vehicle barrier (1) having a barrier column (2), a barrier arm (4) and a drive mechanism for pivoting the barrier arm (4) between a blocking position and an open position, a camera (7) is used for vehicle recognition, for the license plate recognition, for recognizing a following vehicle and for monitoring for vandalism, and the images thereof are evaluated by an electronic evaluation logic that is coupled to control of the vehicle barrier (1).
Method for adjusting an adjusting part on a vehicle and storing signal curves and measured value curves for subsequent testing
A method for adjusting an adjusting part of a vehicle including controlling by an electronic detection device configured to detect a potential obstacle in an adjustment path of the adjusting part based on at least one first measured value and generates at least one control signal. The method including storing and correlating, over a defined time period, at least one of a curve of the control signal the first measured value, and a curve of at least one second measured value changing significantly in response to a collision of the adjusting part and an obstacle for a subsequent plausibility check.
COMBINATION CAPACITIVE AND RESISTIVE OBSTACLE SENSOR
An obstacle sensor for a closure panel of a vehicle includes an elongate non-conductive case which encloses a first, second, and third elongate conductive electrodes. The first and second electrodes are separated by a portion of the case, with a capacitance between the first and second electrodes changing when an obstacle approaches the first electrode. The changed capacitance of the obstacle sensor provides a proximity indication of the obstacle to the obstacle sensor. The second and third electrodes are separated by an air gap formed in the case, with a resistance between the second and third electrodes changing when the second and third electrodes come into contact upon compression of the case by the obstacle. The changed resistance of the obstacle sensor provides a contact indication of the obstacle with the obstacle sensor.
Door lock system
If a second operation is performed on a driver's seat side button (or a front passenger seat side button) when a door of a vehicle is in a locked state, a controller unlocks the door and then opens a sliding door for a rear seat behind a driver's seat (or a front passenger seat). If the second operation is performed on the driver's seat side button (or the front passenger seat side button) when the door of the vehicle is in an unlocked state and the sliding door for the rear seat behind the driver's seat or the front passenger seat is in an opened state, the controller closes the sliding door and then locks the door.
BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A battery electric vehicle includes a controller, a battery and a plurality of charging ports. Each of the charging ports allows a charging plug of a charging apparatus to be connected. The charging apparatus is configured to supply electric power to the battery. Each of the charging ports is provided with a flap. The controller is configured to, while the flap of any one of the charging ports is open, lock the flap of each of the remaining charging ports.
