Apparatus for connecting door closer or operator to swing door

A door closer, comprising a door closer housing mounted to one of a door frame or a door surface and a linkage arm for pivoting the door between open and closed positions. The linkage arm has a first and second end, the first end mounted to the other of the door frame or the door surface. The door closer includes a rotatable connector between the linkage arm and the door closer housing, the linkage arm second end engaging with the rotatable connector. The connector has a rotatable body portion and head protrusion substantially secured in a female receptor to transmit rotation about a longitudinal axis of the connector. One or both of the head protrusion or female receptor has a curved profile and is further movable with respect to the head protrusion to permit limited rotational misalignment of the linkage arm on any axis perpendicular to the connector longitudinal axis.

The two components are connected to each other via at least one pivot bearing having a bearing axis, and the first component includes a first wall. The at least one pivot bearing includes at least one capillary disc having a second wall, and the second wall is spaced from the first wall of the first component by a, preferably annular, gap having a gap width. The gap width at least partially decreases radially in a direction of the bearing axis, so that a lubricant filled into the gap can be transferred radially in a direction towards the bearing axis and/or along the bearing axis by a capillary force.

Sliding door assembly

A sliding door assembly comprises a sliding door leaf, a sliding door rail, and a door operating assembly for operating the door leaf. The door operating assembly has a drive unit to drive the door leaf along the sliding door rail. The sliding door leaf has at least one wagon member attached thereto. The wagon member is connected with the drive unit. An electric component is mounted to the sliding door leaf. A cable arrangement transfers power and/or communication signals between the door operating assembly and the electric component. The cable arrangement comprises a flexible portion with an end section that is fixed in relation to the sliding door leaf to allow the flexible portion to extend to compensate for the movement of the sliding door leaf.

Said arm (32) is shaped from a respective single metal sheet in a single concave piece with concavity facing towards a reference plane parallel to the length direction (Z1, Z2) of the connection bodies (2a,2b) and passing through the ends (32a,32b) of the first arm (32).

Fluid damper device, apparatus with damper and western-style toilet unit

A fluid damper device may include a tube-shaped case including a bottom wall, a tube part extended from the bottom wall, and a partitioning protruded part protruded to an inner side from an inner peripheral face of the tube part, and a turning shaft including a body part facing a first end face of the partitioning protruded part, and a flange part which is enlarged from the body part and faces a second end face of the partitioning protruded part, a valve body supported by the body part, and fluid filled within the case. The first end face of the partitioning protruded part is provided with a first rib protruded toward the body part and extended in the axial line direction and a second rib protruded toward the body part and extended in the axial line direction at a position separated in a circumferential direction from the first rib.

SPIRAL BALANCE DEVICE

A spiral balance device for sash windows has a pipe inside of which extends a spiral rod having a screw section. A lower end of the spiral rod extends through a slot in a coupling rotatably disposed inside the lower end of the pipe and projects from the lower end of the pipe. A torsion spring has an upper end fixed near the upper end of the pipe and a lower end fixed to the coupling. A fixing member is fixed within the upper end of the pipe, and an adjustment member rotatably disposed below the fixing member engages with the upper end of the spiral rod. A ratchet mechanism disposed between the fixing member and adjustment member allows rotation of the adjustment member in a direction of winding the torsion spring and prevents rotation of the adjustment member in a direction of unwinding the torsion spring.
