Casement window opening control device with sliding arms
A device may limit opening of a sash hingedly coupled to a master frame, and includes: a bracket attached to the sash; a first arm having a first end pivotally coupled to the bracket; a second arm having a first end pivotally coupled to the first arm's second end; means for biasing the second arm into a retracted position; and a release assembly. The release assembly is secured to the master frame and includes a hook pivotable between a first position and a second position, which, in the first position, may be releasably received in an opening in the second end of the second arm when the second arm is in the retracted position, as the sash is closed and received within the master window frame The second arm is disengaged from the hook, permitting full opening of the sash, when the hook is pivoted into the second position.
System for controlling power tail gate of vehicle and method for controlling thereof
A controlling method of a vehicle includes: detecting a location of a user around the vehicle in response to receiving opening closing signals for opening and closing a power tail gate of the vehicle, respectively; and controlling opening and closing speeds of the power tail gate according to a distance between the vehicle and the user when opening and closing the power tail gate, respectively, in response to receiving the respective opening and closing signals of the power tail gate.
SAFE PROTECTION APPARATUSES AND METHODS
A safe includes at least one wall having a gap with a safe protection mechanism inserted into the gap. The at least one wall when penetrated by an attack tool attempting to penetrate an interior of the safe activates the safe protection mechanism to thwart and/or impeded progress of the attack tool.
Hinge Cover
A hinge cover for preventing damage to a vehicle or other object caused by contact with one or more hinge of a vertically opening door. Hinges which may be covered with a hinge cover may include leaves connected together by an axial barrel with opposite ends defining openings. A hinge cover may comprise a generally wedge-shaped body and an axial connector removably insertable in a respective barrel end opening to removably attach the hinge cover to the hinge. The body may include a downwardly-sloping ramp and a pair of opposed sidewalls which receive the barrel therebetween. In embodiments, an axial connector comprises a pair of opposed coaxial tabs extending from a respective sidewall which can each be inserted into a respective end opening of the barrel to removably attach the hinge cover to the hinge. The hinge cover shields a vehicle or other object in the path of the hinge from direct or glancing damaging contact by the hinge.
Green window system
The system is compose of a series of operable louvers mounted on a four sided frame and connected on each side to the operating mechanism that allows for easy opening and closing of the louvers. Every part of the system that is exposing to the exterior of the building is separated from the interior part of the system by a low heat conductivity material as a thermal barrier. Each operable louver is composing of a four sided main frame, two panes of glass (inner and outer) and a coupling mechanism on each side that connects to the operating mechanism. The main frame acts as the thermal break as well as a system that absorbs the energy created when an outside object impacts the window from the outside. The system incorporates sealing devices between all moving parts to eliminate water and air infiltration. The operating system allows for easy opening and closing of the window by rotating each louver with the crank mechanism assisted by springs.
VEHICLE WINDOW ASSEMBLY WITH POLARIZED WINDOWPANES AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
A window assembly includes a first polarizing windowpane, and a second polarizing windowpane. The first and second polarizing windowpanes are each independently moveable between a first position that blocks an opening to an interior of a vehicle, and a second position that does not block the opening. A window operating method includes moving first and second polarizing windowpanes of a window assembly from respective first positions that block an opening to an interior of a vehicle to respective second positions that do not block the opening.
SPINDLE DRIVE DEVICE
The invention relates to a spindle drive device comprising a spindle provided with an external thread, a thread engagement element which is in threaded engagement with the external thread of the spindle, a drive assembly having a drive unit which is configured to drive the spindle or the thread engagement element, wherein the spindle or the thread engagement element is connected to at least one connection unit for connecting the spindle drive device to a superordinate assembly that is not part of the spindle drive device.
According to the invention, it is provided that the spindle is a trapezoidal thread spindle made of carbon steel and is heat-treated by means of at least one thermochemical method.
Apparatus for connecting door closer or operator to swing door
A door closer, comprising a door closer housing mounted to one of a door frame or a door surface and a linkage arm for pivoting the door between open and closed positions. The linkage arm has a first and second end, the first end mounted to the other of the door frame or the door surface. The door closer includes a rotatable connector between the linkage arm and the door closer housing, the linkage arm second end engaging with the rotatable connector. The connector has a rotatable body portion and head protrusion substantially secured in a female receptor to transmit rotation about a longitudinal axis of the connector. One or both of the head protrusion or female receptor has a curved profile and is further movable with respect to the head protrusion to permit limited rotational misalignment of the linkage arm on any axis perpendicular to the connector longitudinal axis.
BUILT-IN REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING WIRE COVER UNIT
A built-in refrigerator which includes a body; a door configured to open and close an inside of the body; a hinge configured to connect the body with the door; and a wire cover unit configured to guide a wire drawn from the body while a portion thereof slides according to an opening and closing of the door.
AUTOMATIC DOOR AND DUST REMOVAL DEVICE THEREOF
A dust removal device installed on a slide rail of an automatic door is provided. The slide rail includes a slide groove on the bottom side thereof and is connected to a plurality of door panels. The slide rail includes a top plate, where a plurality of dust discharging holes is disposed. The dust removal device further includes a dust extracting case disposed on the top plate. The dust extracting includes an air passage at the inside, which communicates with the plurality of dust discharging holes. The dust removal device further includes a negative pressure device connected to the dust extracting case so as to generate a negative pressure at the inside of the dust extracting case and the air passage.
