Power window sync switch
10752190 · 2020-08-25 ·

The present invention is a power window sync switch for the windows of a vehicle that permits controlling all windows by a single active home or main control window switch. It permits the driver to move all window panels in the vehicle to the same position at the same time. The power window sync switch sends a signal to a micro-processor within the switch to indicate that the window position selected via the actuated switch is to be applied to all window panels simultaneously. The micro-processor within the switch may then proceed to actuate all window lift motors within the vehicle, causing movement of all window panels to the appropriate positions.

Method for operating a building closure

A method for operating a building closure having the shape of an overhead sectional door or of a garage door including at least one spring-loaded counterweight device and an electrical drive device is disclosed. A control unit simultaneously monitors the position of the building closure and a motor current for the drive device. When the building closure is in an open or a closed position, the motor current is reduced and maintained at a level to residually energize the drive device to reliably maintain the building closure in a desired position.

Method for controlling at least one vehicle function of a vehicle assembly, and vehicle assembly

A method for controlling at least one vehicle function of a vehicle assembly having a vehicle and a roof rack which is mounted on a roof of the vehicle, wherein a communication link is produced between the roof rack and the vehicle, wherein at least one piece of information comprising the mounting state of the roof rack is transmitted to the vehicle via the communication link, and wherein the piece of information is taken into account in the control of the at least one vehicle function.

Motor control device

The motor control device is an electric motor control device including a control unit (control circuit unit) configured to output a forward-rotation command or a reverse-rotation command to the electric motor. The control unit includes a position detector (door opening/closing information generation circuit) configured to detect a rotation direction of the electric motor when a detection signal is input from a rotation sensor (Hall integrated circuit (IC)), which detects the rotation of the electric motor, while no current is supplied to the electric motor. The control unit includes an electric current supply device (pulse width modulation (PWM) command generation circuit) configured to supply an electric current by which the electric motor is rotated in an opposite direction to the detected rotation direction by increasing an electric current supply duty ratio every time the detection signal is switched.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AT LEAST ONE VEHICLE FUNCTION OF A VEHICLE ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE ASSEMBLY
