ATTUATORE MOTORIZZATO E BARRIERA MOBILE PROVVISTA DI TALE ATTUATORE
The motorized drive according to the invention application is configured to open and/or close a wing of a barrier such as a door, main door, gate or swing shutter, a wall or sliding partition or other sliding wing. The motorized drive comprises includes a motor and a first reduction unit through which the motor can open or close the wing. The reduction unit comprises includes a first and a second toothed profile engaging together, thus realizing a gear with a variable transmission ratio depending on the angular and/or linear position of at least one of the two toothed profiles. At least one of the first and of the second toothed profile forms at least one toothed section having a pitch profile which is substantially non-circular or not formed by a simple arc of a circle or a straight line.
FENESTRATION UNIT WITH ACCESSIBLE IG SPACE
Various systems and methods are provided for controlling access to the insulated glass space of a fenestration unit. A hinge lug is provided including a lug body having a mounting portion, a cam portion defining a curved cam surface, and a retention portion projecting from the cam portion, and a first retention arm extending from the lug body such that the retention arm is elastically deflectable away from the retention lip. A restrictor link is provided including a restrictor link body having a first end and a second end, wherein the restrictor link body is elastically deflectable, a securing lock positioned proximate the second end, and a cap extending from the securing lock, the cap defining an engaging surface operable to engage the lip channel of the sash. A latch system is provided including a latch base with a ramp access aperture and a latch body including a ramp.
Hinged upper door frame member
An improvement in a portable building (B) comprises a ramp door (100) installed in an opening (O) formed in a sidewall (S) of the building. An upper door frame member (106) is hingedly installed to the side of building so to cover the upper end of the ramp door. When the member is in a vertical position, it prevents the ramp door from being lowered; but when the member is rotated to a horizontal position, it unblocks the upper end of the door so the door can be lowered and raised.
System and method for improved louver windows
The system includes a series of operable louvers mounted on a four-sided frame and connected on each side to the operating mechanism that allows for easy opening and closing of the louvers. Every part of the system that is exposing to the exterior of the building is separated from the interior part of the system by a low heat conductivity material as a thermal barrier. Each operable louver is composing of a four-sided main frame, two panes of glass (inner and outer) and a coupling mechanism on each side that connects to the operating mechanism. The main frame acts as the thermal break as well as a system that absorbs the energy created when an outside object impacts the window from the outside. The system incorporates sealing devices between all moving parts to eliminate water and air infiltration. The operating system allows for easy opening and closing of the window by rotating each louver with the crank mechanism assisted by springs.
HINGED CLAMP AND STAND ELEMENT BUILDING BLOCKS
A building block includes a plurality of panel elements that are each rotatable relative to each other one of the plurality of panel elements; a connecting pin that passes through and rotatably connects the plurality of panel elements to each other; and a plurality of connectors, each connector rotatably attached to a respective panel element, where each one of the panel elements includes at least on locking feature configured to create a releasably fixed connection between adjacent panel elements.
HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR ELEVATIONAL RAILS
An articulated attachment assembly and a rail system and method of installation for rail installations in which there is an elevational change between vertical supports, in which the articulated attachment assembly eliminates the need for field mitering of components and provides instead a first articulated hinge assembly having a first mounting block to be attached to the first support, a second mounting block to be attached to the first rail connection block, and a hinge member to couple the second mounting block to the first mounting block and enable the second mounting block, the first rail connection block, and the rail to pivot together relative to the first mounting block and the first support.
BRAKE DEVICE, ARRANGEMENT FOR CONTROLLING MOVEMENTS OF ACCESS MEMBER, AND ACCESS MEMBER SYSTEM
A brake device (12a, 12b) comprising a hard magnet (20); a soft magnet (22) configured to switch polarity between a first polarity and a second polarity when being subjected to a magnetic field and configured to maintain the polarity when the magnetic field is removed; an electric coil (24) located around the soft magnet; an electric control system (16) configured to apply a current pulse to the electric coil to generate the magnetic field for changing the polarization of the soft magnet; and a brake element (18) comprising a magnetic target section (28), the brake element being arranged to move to a released position (40) when the soft magnet adopts the first polarity, and arranged to move to a braking position (64) due to a magnetic field generated by the hard magnet and the soft magnet in combination and acting on the magnetic target section when the soft magnet adopts the second polarity.
Time of flight (TOF) based detecting system for an automatic door
A detecting system for an automatic door is provided including a TOF camera having a field of view that is limited in a first zone for a first purpose such as safety and in a second zone for another purpose such as activation or counting. The proposed system can be used for example in powered pedestrian doors, bus, rail, etc. In some embodiments, at least one ultrasound sensor system is further provided. The two technologies share hardware and information, resulting in improved safety and counting functions of the system, while reducing the amount of hardware used, space requirement and unit cost, and improving performance.
