INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An information processing device of the present invention includes: a matching means that executes a matching process of performing matching between an object within a captured image obtained by capturing a pre-passing side region of a gate and a previously registered object; a distance estimating means that estimates a distance from the gate to the object within the captured image by using a reference value set based on an attribute of the object within the captured image; and a gate controlling means that controls opening and closing of the gate based on a result of the matching and the estimated distance to the object within the captured image.
GATE SAFETY SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING COLLISIONS BETWEEN A VEHICLE AND A GATE
A gate safety system for preventing collisions between a vehicle and a gate is provided, the system having a gate module with a vehicle module, a gate antenna unit and a gate processing unit. The gate processing unit is adapted for defining a first gate warning zone and for determining whether a vehicle module is present within the first gate warning zone. The vehicle module includes a vehicle antenna unit and a vehicle processing unit adapted for defining at least one first vehicle warning zone for determining whether the gate module is present within the vehicle warning zone. A lock safety system, two methods for operating the gate safety system and the lock safety system, and two computer programs are also provided.
Optoelectronic safety device and method for monitoring a movement of a machine
An optoelectronic safety device for monitoring a machine movement includes a detection device and a control device. The detection device includes a transmitter unit which transmits an optical signal having a sequence of signal pulses, each of which has a different pulse intensity, and a receiver unit which receives the optical signal. The control device includes an evaluation unit which evaluates the optical signal received by the receiver unit, a pulse selection index, and a pulse selection unit which changes the pulse selection index if the pulse intensity of one of the signal pulses is outside of an optimal intensity range. The control device enables the machine movement if an intensity of a received signal is within a permissible intensity range, and outputs a trigger pulse to stop the machine movement if the intensity of the received signal is outside of the permissible intensity range.
Gated barrier with lift lock
The present lift lock includes a slide having feet and a slot between the feet, where such slide further includes an interior generally full length wall for acting as a stop, and where such slide further includes gripping ribs that increase in width from the front end of the slide to the rear end of the slide.
Chute Safety System and Method of Use
A chute safety system for selectively enclosing a bovine in a calf shoot by selectively closing a rear gate assembly behind the bovine. The chute safety system comprises an entryway at a rear portion, a first side enclosure, a second side enclosure and a front gate assembly at a front portion, a trigger foot plate assembly and the rear gate assembly. The chute safety system can comprise a bovine enclosure defined by a space between the rear gate assembly, the first side enclosure, the second side enclosure, and the front gate assembly. The rear gate assembly comprises a rear gate crossbar having a crossbar distal end and a crossbar proximate end, a crossbar hinge and a crossbar rotational axis.
Ladder latch
A lock includes a pair of spaced apart parallel bolts connected by a plate extending between the bolts. A slot, formed in a hinged structure, such as a gate, extends from a free edge of the structure (an edge opposite a hinged edge) to an end point at a determined distance from the free edge. The plate is received in the slot. Each bolt is located on an opposite side of the hinged structure, when the plate is received in the slot. The slot defines a range of sliding motion of the plate and bolts.
Gated barrier
A gated barrier that includes a barrier frame first portion, a barrier frame second portion, and a gate between the barrier frame first and second portions. The barrier frame first and second portions include first and second threshold portions that are spaced apart from each other and held in such a spaced apart orientation by a rigid elongate piece. The gated barrier further includes a latch apparatus, panels, and junction apparatus between the panels.
AUTOMATIC GATE SYSTEM
A gate system, including a transmitter for a vehicle, for continuously transmitting transmission including requests including information including location of the vehicle in relation to the gate, and at least an allowed code, and a device for the gate, including a receiver, for continuously receiving the continuous transmission, and a controller including the allowed code, for continuously approving the requests according to the allowed code, and for opening the gate only once the requests include the information of the transmitted transmission indicating that the vehicle is sufficiently near the gate.
GATE / DOOR HINGE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE FOR INSTALLATION, ADJUSTMENT, AND MAINTAINING ALIGNMENT
A gate hinge apparatus and method adapted to be fastened to a vertical gate and to a post, comprising: a L-bolt having an elongated horizontal portion formed with thread and a transition into a vertical male member; a first bracket having a female mounting flange mounted to either the gate or the post disposed adjacent to the gate as elected by said user; a second bracket having a plate having one or more threaded means for holding and retaining said L-bolt, which is mounted to the gate or the post disposed adjacent to the gate; said L-bolt uses its vertical male member to connect to said female mounting flange; and said L-bolt has one or more nuts that are positioned on said thread on said elongated horizontal portion of said L-bolt to adjust said hinge. The method comprising: rotating the nut in a first angular direction to increase the gap width; and rotating the bolt in a second angular direction, to decrease the gap width.
GATE LATCHING SYSTEM
A gate latching system is provided. A gate latching system installed onto a gate hinged to a stationary post for covert, one-handed operation, the gate latching system comprising a latch bar mounted to an interior side of the hinged gate via a plurality of fasteners where a first end of the latch bar rests against the stationary post preventing the gate from opening in an inward direction. The latch bar having a latch affixed next to the first end of the latch bar. An operator lever affixed at a midpoint of the latch bar and a stiff wire connector coupled to the latch and the operator lever and a latch coupling fastened to the stationary post in plane with the latch to optionally couple with the latch.
