SELF-DRAINING THRESHOLD FOR EXTERIOR DOORWAYS
A self-draining threshold component for a building opening for an exterior doorway having a wooden base member, an interior PVC channel, a lower extension on the PVC channel defining flanges engaging one edge of the wooden base, an aluminum sill base connected with the PVC channel, a downward extension on the sill base having a flange which engages another edge of the wooden base, and an aluminum tread above the sill base, and downward extensions of the aluminum tread inter engaged with the sill base, the PVC channel and the aluminium tread having drain holes to drain liquids to the exterior.

Shower door system with gravity hinge
A shower door and hinge assembly comprising a glass shower door, a sloping sill, a sill angle adapter, upper and lower horizontal door frame rails, and upper and lower shower door hinges where the lower hinge is a gravity style hinge featuring a self-closing action, is presented. The hinges of the present invention shower door and hinge assembly attach only to horizontal edge surfaces of the glass door. The hinges do not attach to any vertical surface of the door.

Sill pan
A method for forming a sill pan is provided that includes the measurement of a width and length of an opening sill to be sealed. A piece of flexible sill pan material is cut based on the measured opening sill. Fold lines and cuts are created in the piece to form the sill pan. The resulting sill pan is readily formed to have at least one attribute of self-adherence, draining without shims, nail hole self-sealing, and provision of dams without resort to frame cutting.

CLOSURE FIRE RATED FRAME EXTRUSION COMPONENT AND A METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
An extrusion component of a closure frame for defining an opening which is closable by a closure member and a method of making the same. The extrusion component comprises an elongate body having first and second sides, at least one of which is shaped for accommodating said closure member. The elongate body includes an outer layer integrally formed with an inner layer and the inner layer has an outer surface correspondingly shaped by or with an inner surface of the outer layer.
Adjustable threshold device
An adjustable door threshold device is disclosed. The device has a user-traversable threshold surface, a transverse surface, and a lift mechanism. The user-traversable threshold surface has a first surface portion and a second surface portion. The transverse surface is positioned transverse to the first surface portion and between the first surface portion and second surface portions. The lift mechanism is operable to move the first surface portion from a lowered position to a raised position. When the first surface portion is in the lowered position the first surface portion is recessed from the second surface portion and the transverse surface extends above the first surface portion for overlapped mating with a door lip.

WINDOW PAN DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A system and components for a window pan water dam system is disclosed. The object of the invention is to deflect water from the window base sill plate back towards the exterior drainage plain of the building envelope, thus ensuring water ingress does not occur through the sill pan area and the side walls of the opening.
