Thermal break system and method for doors and windows
A door assembly providing a door frame including an inside steel panel having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a C-shaped section extending about a periphery thereof with a portion of the C-shaped section extending in part parallel to the inner surface of the inside steel panel; an outside steel panel having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a C-shaped section extending about a periphery thereof with a portion of the C-shaped section extending in part parallel to the inner surface of the outside steel panel; an insulating material interposed between respective C-shaped sections of the inside steel panel and the outside steel panel to thermally isolate the inside steel panel and the outside steel panel from each other, and said inside steel panel and outside steel panel being secured together at respective C-shaped sections to form the thermal break system.

Doorsill
A doorsill for forming the bottom of an entryway. The doorsill has a substrate to be disposed above a subfloor and a lifter provided on the substrate capable of extending from a bottom of the substrate. The lifter is adjustable to change the orientation or position of the bottom relative to the subfloor.

Adjustable Sweep Equipped Door
An adjustable sweep door assembly includes a panel. A groove, positioned in a bottom of the panel, extends from proximate to a first side to proximate to a second side of the panel. Each of a plurality of openings is positioned through the panel and extends to the groove. The assembly comprises a plate that is rigid. Each of a plurality of biasers is coupled to the panel proximate to an associated opening. Each biaser also is coupled to a top face of the plate. A seal is coupled to a bottom face of the plate and extends from a first end to a second end of the plate. The seal is configured to sealably engage a threshold of a door opening. Each biaser is accessible through the associated opening, such that the seal is adjustably positionable relative to the bottom of the panel.
PREFABRICATED WINDOW SILL
A prefabricated window sill (10) suitable for external use comprises a closed cast outer shell (12) having at least an upper surface (16), a lower surface (18), a front surface (20), a rear surface (22) and first and second end surfaces (24, 26). The shell is made from a composite of a plastic polyester resin mixed with either crushed marble or crushed glass, with a catalyst which causes the resin to set; the shell being filled with an expanded plastics foam.
