Overhead door hinge
A frame assembly supporting an overhead door has a horizontal header connected to upright columns or posts with splice assemblies. Fasteners mounted on the columns cooperate with retainers on the splice assemblies to position and connect the columns to the header. Hinges pivotally mount the door on the header for movement between open and closed positions. Linear actuators connected to the frame assembly and door are operable to move the door between door open and door closed positions.
Reduction of Sound Propagation Between Spaces Divided by a Retractable Wall
Methods and systems for reducing sound propagation between spaces divided by a retractable wall are disclosed. A retractable wall is configured to divide a space when deployed. An edge of the retractable wall is disposed into a track with a channel when the retractable wall is deployed. A bladder is configured to inflate when the retractable wall is deployed and to press the edge of the retractable wall. In this manner, sound propagation through any gaps is reduced.

OVERHEAD DOOR FRAME ASSEMBLY
An overhead door frame assembly has a horizontal header connected to tripod legs with splice assemblies. Each tripod leg has two upright columns connected to an upright I-bar. A splice assembly is fastened to each upright column. Hinges pivotally mount the overhead door to the header to allow hydraulic cylinders to move the overhead door to an open position and a closed position.
Overhead bi-fold door
An overhead bi-fold door mounted on a freestanding header has a door lift device with polymer cylindroids and capstans operated with an electric motor driven power transmission to selectively move the bi-fold door from an upright closed position to a folded open position and allow the bi-fold door to move from the folded open position to the upright closed position. Anchors mounted on the bi-fold door adjust the working length of the cylindroids between the capstans and anchors. The capstans have laterally spaced disks engageable with the cylindroids during the helical winding and unwinding of the cylindroid on the capstans as the bi-fold door moves at an increasing rate of speed from the upright closed to folded open positions and a decreasing rate of speed from the folded open to upright closed positions.
