Articles including anticondensation coatings and/or methods of making the same
Certain example embodiments of this invention relate to articles including anticondensation coatings that are exposed to an external environment, and/or methods of making the same. In certain example embodiments, the anticondensation coatings may be survivable in an outside environment. The coatings also may have a sufficiently low sheet resistance and hemispherical emissivity such that the glass surface is more likely to retain heat from the interior area, thereby reducing (and sometimes completely eliminating) the presence condensation thereon. The articles of certain example embodiments may be, for example, skylights, vehicle windows or windshields, IG units, VIG units, refrigerator/freezer doors, and/or the like.
Articles including anticondensation and/or low-E coatings and/or methods of making the same

DEVICE TO MANAGE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION OF SECONDARY WINDOW
A device may include a first temperature/humidity sensor positioned on a room-side surface of the housing to sense a first temperature and a first relative humidity of ambient air within a room; a second temperature/humidity sensor within the cavity to sense a second temperature and a second relative humidity of air within the cavity; and a glass temperature sensor positioned on an internal surface the primary window to sense a third temperature of the glass. The device may include a first vent within the housing to allow the ambient air to draw in by a fan into the cavity. The device may include a second vent within the housing to allow the air within the cavity to pass to the room. A controller within the housing may read the first temperature, the first relative humidity, the second temperature, the second relative humidity, and the third temperature and activate the fan.

Glazing perimeter anticondensation coating technology
The invention provides a glass pane that has a transparent electrically conductive coating on a surface of the glass pane, such that the glass pane has a coated surface. The coated surface has a central region and a perimeter region. The transparent electrically conductive coating has a higher electrical conductivity at the central region than it does at the perimeter region. In some embodiments, the coated glass pane is part of an IG unit. Also provided are methods of producing a coated glass pane having an anti-condensation perimeter region.
