HOUSEHOLD DOOR WITH INTEGRATED DISPLAY AND VARIOUS POWER ROUTING CONDUITS
A household door with an integrated display, and methods for fabricating, installing, and routing power and data to the same are disclosed. The household door includes a door core having a cavity. The household door further incudes a front skin affixed to the door core and having a display window, and a back skin affixed to the door core. The household door further includes a display secured within the cavity and exposed by the display window. The front skin, the back skin, and the display seal the cavity.
RAMPS TO FACILITATE CROSSING THRESHOLDS OF SLIDING DOORS
Ramps to facilitate crossing thresholds of sliding doors are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a ramp to be positioned adjacent a threshold of a sliding door; a bridge plate; and a hinge to rotatable couple the bridge plate to the ramp. The bridge plate is to rotate between a stowed position and a deployed position. The bridge plate is to be positioned clear of a path of a panel of the sliding door when in the stowed position. The bridge plate is to extend across the threshold when in the deployed position.
Mailbox assembly
A landing pad receives and stores packages delivered from an aerial vehicle and awaiting pickup from an aerial vehicle. The landing pad can be placed outside of a window and can contain a transmitter for sending out an identification signal via radio frequency to aid aerial vehicles in finding the landing pad. The landing pad contains a landing platform with a trapdoor that leads to a storage compartment. The trapdoor can be configured to only open when it receives a signal from an authorized aerial vehicle. The storage compartment can be accessed via a storage compartment door which can contain a locking mechanism. The storage compartment can be climate controlled. The landing pad can also have a transmitter that emits sounds to discourage animals from nesting on or near the landing pad. The landing pad can also include a solar power generator as a source of electrical energy.

SYSTEM FOR ATTACHMENT OF AC UNIT VENTS TO CASEMENT OR AWNING WINDOWS
The embodiments of the invention relate to a transparent panel or window insert of corresponding shape and size to a casement or awning window. The transparent panel or window insert is attached to the frame of a casement or awning window or an insect screen by way of a series of releasable fasteners around the outer perimeter of the transparent panel or window insert. A void, corresponding to the shape and size of a A/C hose is cut into the transparent panel or window insert. In some embodiments of the invention the void may be bayoneted to cooperate with bayonette-style hose connections.
OPTICAL MEMBER AND LIGHT GUIDE SYSTEM
An optical member includes a light source, a first substrate to be a light guide that guides emitted light from the light source, a variable layer in contact with a predetermined surface of the first substrate, and a second substrate facing the first substrate via the variable layer. When a refractive index of the first substrate is n1, a refractive index of the variable layer can be changed to n2 or n3 (where n2>n3), and n1, n2, and n3 satisfy a relationship of |n1−n2|<|n1−n3|.
AUDIO DOOR SYSTEM
According to one example, an audio door system includes a door, an audio system, an amplifier, and an exciter. The audio system is coupled to the door. The amplifier is coupled to the door, and is electrically coupled to the audio system. The exciter is coupled to the door, and is electrically coupled to the amplifier. The exciter can transform an audio electrical signal into mechanical energy, and can further cause a surface of the door to transform the mechanical energy into one or more acoustic sound waves.

FALSE WINDOW UNIT AND FALSE WINDOW
A false window unit includes: a window frame which is disposed in a wall and includes an opening; an image display device which is disposed facing the opening of the window frame, and displays a landscape image toward the indoor space through the opening of the window frame; a light source which is disposed between the window frame and the image display device, and emits light simulating sunlight toward the indoor space through the opening of the window frame; and a sash frame which blocks part of the light from the light source.
