A vehicle includes a vehicle body and a ladder. The vehicle body has a roof panel body structure and an underside body structure. The ladder has a first end and a second end. The first end is mounted to the roof panel body structure. The second end is mounted to the underside body structure so that the ladder is mounted to the vehicle's roof surface and to an underside surface of the vehicle.

A vehicle includes a vehicle body and a ladder. The vehicle body has a roof panel body structure and an underside body structure. The ladder has a first end and a second end. The first end is mounted to the roof panel body structure. A modular staircase is disclosed. The modular staircase includes a first staircase section having a plurality of steps and a first support member detachably connected to the first staircase section. Further, the modular staircase includes a second stair module having a second staircase section including a plurality of steps and a second support member detachably connected to the second staircase section and to the first support member. The modular staircase further includes a third stair module having a third staircase section including a plurality of steps and a retractable third support member detachably connected to the third staircase section and to the second support member. The third support member may be configured to raise or lower the third staircase section relative to the second staircase section.

A modular staircase is disclosed. The modular staircase includes a first staircase section having a plurality of steps and a first support member detachably connected to the first staircase section. Further, the modular staircase includes a second stair module having a second staircase section including a plurality of steps and a second support member detachably connected to the second staircase section and to the first support member. For use as an accessory with a multi-purpose vehicle having enclosed and rooftop cargo storage, a ladder/ramp includes a pair of siderails and crossbars extending between the siderails. A plurality of panels are each rotatably mounted between the siderails adjacent to one of a plurality of the crossbars, with each panel selectively rotatable between a closed position substantially aligned with the siderails and an open position extending outwardly from the siderails. When the panels are in the closed position, the panels and the crossbars collectively form a substantially continuous surface between the siderails on which wheels can be rolled. When the panels are in the open position, the panels each form a step that may support at least about 250 pounds. The panels may snap into place when moved into the open or closed positions, to prevent inadvertent movement therefrom.

For use as an accessory with a multi-purpose vehicle having enclosed and rooftop cargo storage, a ladder/ramp includes a pair of siderails and crossbars extending between the siderails. A plurality of panels are each rotatably mounted between the siderails adjacent to one of a plurality of the crossbars, with each panel selectively rotatable between a closed position substantially aligned with the siderails and an open position extending outwardly from the siderails. In one embodiment of the invention, a ladder and method for removably mounting the ladder on a recreational vehicle is disclosed. The ladder may be removed and used as a standard step ladder. The ladder includes a top end and two pairs of legs extending downward from the top end. At least one of the pairs of legs is pivotally mounted to the top end, and a pivoting limiting mechanism is provided to allow the pairs of legs to fold adjacent one another or unfold to a use position as a step ladder. An upper mounting arrangement is attached to the recreational vehicle. The arrangement includes two free ends extending downwardly therefrom; and the top end of the ladder includes receivers for receiving free ends of the upper mounting arrangement.

A boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus is provided. One aspect of the present ladder apparatus includes an elongated extension handle including a slot adjacent a lower end thereof. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus provides a snap-on step tread which can be mounted to a dual-tubular ladder step structure. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus employs a laterally expandable ladder step which can be retrofit onto an existing ladder. A further aspect employs clasps or hooks to attach and retain a ladder step to generally vertical ladder rails in a tool-free and fastener-free manner.

A ladder for a flat bed truck which is movably secured to one side of the flat bed truck. The ladder is selectively movable between a horizontally disposed stowed position beneath one side of the flat bed of the flat bed truck to an upstanding position outwardly of the one side of the flat bed of the truck.
