Extension ladder, ladder components and related methods
A ladder is provided having a base section and a fly section slidably coupled with the base section. The base section includes a first pair of spaced apart rails and a first plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first pair of spaced apart rails. The fly section includes a second pair of spaced apart rails and a second plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the second pair of spaced apart rails. The various rungs may be coupled with their associated rails in an offset relationship such that they are not centered along a longitudinal center axis line of the rails. A rung lock device may be used which includes an arm pivotally coupled with the base section and configured to selectively engage various rungs of the second plurality of rungs to maintain the fly section in a desired position relative to the base section.

ADJUSTMENT MECHANISMS, LADDERS INCORPORATING SAME AND RELATED METHODS
Ladders, ladder components and related methods are provided. In some embodiments, adjustable stepladders are provided which include locking mechanisms that enable height adjustment of the ladder through application of a force towards the rails of the ladder. The locking mechanism may include a base or bracket, a handle or lever pivotally coupled with the bracket, an engagement pin coupled with the lever, a biasing member to bias the handle towards a first position relative to the bracket, and a detent mechanism for retaining the lever in at least a second position relative to the bracket.

Telescopic device
A telescopic device achieves both simultaneous unlocking of paired locking units and easy unlocking of one locking unit, and includes: outer casings; insertion bodies; vertically-arranged rung members; a locking mechanism; and an operating mechanism having an operating member. The locking mechanism comprises retention portion of the insertion body and locking member supported on the outer casing for engagement with and disengagement from the retention portion by separating-approaching motion. The locking member is interlocked to operating member extending from the locking mechanism toward the upper rung member. The operating mechanism has an operating rod for coupling the paired operating members for concurrent movements in unlocking direction. Each end of the operating rod and one operating member are fitted together so that, when manipulating one end of the operating rod in unlocking direction, the operating rod is inclined for movement of one operating member in unlocking direction.

Rung lock frame for a rung lock assembly for use with an extension ladder
A rung lock frame has an upper rung portion, a lower rung portion integrally formed with the upper rung portion, and a bar member formed between the upper rung portion and the lower rung portion. The bar member defines an opening with the lower rung portion for the receipt of a rung of a ladder therein. The upper rung portion, the lower rung portion and the bar member are integrally formed of a glass-reinforced nylon material.

Attachment for an extension ladder
An attachment for an extension ladder includes a tray supported upon a pair of tray support rods and a tray support rod brace. A scuff pad is capable of being secured to the common first end of the tray support rods while the common second end is capable of being secured to an extension ladder. Each tray support rod is supported by a tray support rod angular brace which is capable of being removably secured adjacent each tray support rod first end and removably secured to the extension ladder at a support rod angular brace second end subjacent the tray support rod second end ladder attachment point. Each tray support rod and tray support rod angular brace is capable of being adjusted lengthwise.
