Mass tuned ladder rung and ladder formed therewith
A rung which can be installed in a ladder is disclosed which comprises a first plate having first and second ends, each of the first and second ends having a relief tab and an opening, and a second plate, the second plate being identical to the first plate, the first and second plates being nestable such that the relief tabs of the first plate insert through the openings of the second plate to form the rungs.
LADDERS AND LADDER RUNGS
A ladder and ladder rungs are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder comprises a first assembly having a first pair of spaced apart rails and a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first pair of spaced apart rails. At least one rung of the plurality of rungs may include a first support surface portion, a second support surface portion, and a channel extending between the first support surface portion and the second support surface portion. In one embodiment, a rear surface of each of the first pair of spaced apart rails defines a plane and the first support surface portion is located on a first side of the plane and the second support surface portion is located on a second side of the plane. In one embodiment, at least one other rung is entirely positioned on the first side of the plane.
LADDERS AND LADDER RUNGS
A ladder and ladder rungs are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder comprises a first assembly having a first pair of spaced apart rails and a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first pair of spaced apart rails. At least one rung of the plurality of rungs may include a first support surface portion, a second support surface portion, and a channel extending between the first support surface portion and the second support surface portion. In one embodiment, a rear surface of each of the first pair of spaced apart rails defines a plane and the first support surface portion is located on a first side of the plane and the second support surface portion is located on a second side of the plane. In one embodiment, at least one other rung is entirely positioned on the first side of the plane.
LADDER
A ladder having a frame with three leg members wherein the leg members are adjustable in length so as to provide a level orientation of the ladder subsequent the ladder being superposed an uneven support surface. The frame includes two rear leg members and a front leg member having a platform member operably coupled to the top thereof. The front leg member is hingedly secured to the platform member and movable between a deployed and stored position. The three leg members include an upper portion and a lower portion wherein the lower portion is slidably engaged with the upper portion. A clamp member is disposed in each of the three leg members and is configured to operably engage a portion of the lower portion of each of the three leg members. The clamp member includes opposing jaw members with a void therebetween.
LADDER

The frame includes two rear leg members and a front leg member having a platform member operably coupled to the top thereof. A clamp member is disposed in each of the three leg members and is configured to operably engage a portion of the lower portion of each of the three leg members. The clamp member includes opposing jaw members with a void therebetween.
Box Rail Backup and Method
A ladder having a first box rail having a first side, and a second side extending perpendicularly from the first side. The first side having a first hole. The second side having a first hole in alignment with the first hole of the first side. The ladder having a second box rail, at least a portion of which is in parallel and spaced relation with the first box rail. The ladder comprises a first hollow tube disposed in the first box rail in alignment with the first hole of the first side and the first hole of the third side. The ladder comprises a bracket having a first bracket hole in alignment with the first hole of the first side. The ladder comprises a first fastener extending through the first hole of the third side, the first hollow tube, the first hole of the first side and the first hole of the bracket which attaches the bracket to the first box rail. Box Rail Backup and Method
A ladder having a first box rail having a first side, and a second side extending perpendicularly from the first side. The first side having a first hole. The second side having a first hole in alignment with the first hole of the first side. The ladder having a second box rail, at least a portion of which is in parallel and spaced relation with the first box rail. The ladder comprises a first hollow tube disposed in the first box rail in alignment with the first hole of the first side and the first hole of the third side. The ladder comprises a bracket having a first bracket hole in alignment with the first hole of the first side. The ladder comprises a first fastener extending through the first hole of the third side, the first hollow tube, the first hole of the first side and the first hole of the bracket which attaches the bracket to the first box rail. Extension Ladder with Groove Box Rails and Method
An extension ladder having a base section having a first box shaped base rail having a base side and a groove extending along the side. The extension ladder has a fly section having a first box shaped fly rail, and a follower bracket attached to the first box shaped fly rail and extending outward toward the first box shaped base rail. The groove is sized to engage the follower bracket which constrains the fly section to have limited motion relative to the base section and a left to right and front to rear directions while permitting the fly section to slide freely relative to the base section when the fly section is extended. Ladder with Box Rails Having a Collar and Method
A ladder having a right box rail having an outer web with an outer opening and an inner web with an inner opening. The ladder having a left box rail in parallel and spaced relation with the right box rail. The ladder comprises a hollow collar disposed in between the inner opening of the inner web and the outer opening of the outer web. The collar having a stem having a plurality of segments. The segments separated by slots. The ladder having a first rung attached to the right and left box rails.
