Ladder
A collapsible ladder that collapse not only the rails but also the steps, as well as the top caps, so that the ladder may be erected and then collapsed flat, saving storage space.
The ladder has a pair of right siderails rotatably connected to a pair of left siderails. The right top cap and the right steps are rotatably attached in between the pair of right siderails. The right top cap and the right steps are also rotatably attached in between the pair of right linking rails. Likewise, the ladder also has a pair of left siderails rotatably connected to a pair of left siderails. The left top cap and the left steps are rotatably attached in between the pair of left siderails. The left top cap and the left steps are also rotatably attached in between the pair of left linking rails.
Because the siderails, the steps, the linking rials are all rotatably attached to form the ladder, the ladder may be open and erected and also may be folded and collapsed to save space for storage and for carrying.

LADDER WITH TREAD SYSTEM
A reconfigurable ladder includes a first ladder section and a second ladder section each having several steps. The first and second ladder sections are coupled to one another by a hinge that mounts the second ladder section to the first ladder section for movement about an axis such that the ladder can be reconfigured to FOLDED, UNFOLDED, and FULL-EXTENSION modes.

Telescoping ladder with a cascading collapse mechanism
A telescoping ladder is provided, that includes a plurality of columns disposed in a nested arrangement for relative axial movement in a telescopic fashion between a fully-extended position and a collapsed position. The columns are connected to rungs by way of connector assemblies. Each connector assembly has a locking pin moveable between an extended position or a retracted position for extending into or retracting out of openings of adjacent columns to selectively lock or release the columns respectively. The telescoping ladder includes a plurality of actuators that permit collapsing the ladder in a sequential manner, the sequence involving collapsing the columns on a lower portion of the ladder prior to collapsing columns immediately thereabove.
Ladder, Wide Rung and Method
A ladder having a first rail and a second rail. The ladder having a standard rung having a width permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The ladder having a first wide rung having a width greater than the width of the standard rung, which is permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The ladder having a second wide rung having a width greater than the width of the standard rung, which is permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The first wide rung and the second wide rung are disposed in a work zone of the ladder. The work zone of the ladder is where a user typically stands on the ladder while performing tasks. The standard rung is disposed outside the work zone. A wide rung. A method for using a ladder. A method for producing a ladder.

Ladder tube for a collapsible ladder
A ladder tube (10, 12) for use in a ladder section of a collapsible ladder (1) is provided. The collapsible ladder comprises several ladder sections (5, 5a-5j), where each ladder section comprises two ladder tubes (10, 12) arranged parallel to each other and interconnected by a rung (20) to form the respective ladder section, and where each ladder tube (10, 12) is telescopically inserted into a ladder tube (10, 12) of a lower section to form the collapsible ladder (1). The ladder tube (10, 12) is characterized in that it has a cross-sectional shape comprising at least one straight section (16) which at each end is connected at an angle larger than 90 degrees to at least one additional section (18) of the cross-sectional shape.

Ladder with safety features
A ladder selectively allows or prevents user access to the ladder steps, such that the ladder can only be climbed when such access is allowed. For example, the ladder may only selectively allow ingress into a bathing enclosure, e.g., when operated by an adult, but always allows egress from the bathing enclosure by any user. The ladder includes one or more safety blocks moveable between a safety configuration, in which ingress is prevented or inhibited, and a ladder configuration, in which ingress and egress is permitted.
