Ladders, ladder components and related methods
Ladders, ladder components and related methods are provided. In some embodiments, adjustable stepladders are provided which include locking mechanisms that enable height adjustment of the ladder through application of a force towards the rails of the ladder. In other embodiments, spreader mechanisms are provided with cross bracing located and configured to provide additional stability to the ladder while also incorporating a handle that enables efficient collapsing of the ladder while reducing the potential of pinching ones hands or fingers. In another embodiment, a device is provided for selective coupling with the ladder that includes a support or safety rail and an adjustable tray. The device may be coupled with the ladder in a number of different positions including a stowed position. In another embodiment, a hinge assembly is provided having a magnetic component configured to be magnetically coupled with and temporarily store an object on the ladder.

Movable ladder
Disclosed is a movable ladder formed by a structural element composed of a rear part and two sides, the lower part of the vertical structural elements of the ladder terminating in lateral projections in the form of an inverted “U” that provide the ladder with reliable support on the floor. The ladder is characterised in that it is provided with two collapsible lateral platforms and four wheels that can be raised or lowered to facilitate the movement of the ladder toward the work area.

Ladder platform system
A ladder platform system for attachment to an extension ladder is provided. The system includes a ladder platform assembly having a first tubular leg, a second tubular leg, a platform, and a tubular board support sleeve. The first tubular leg defines a first interior space that is sized and shaped to receive a top portion of a first ladder side rail therein. The second tubular leg defines a second interior space that is sized and shaped to receive a top portion of the second ladder side rail therein. The tubular board support sleeve is coupled to a bottom surface of the platform and is sized and shaped to receive a board therethrough. The system includes a first standoff member sized and shaped to receive the board therethrough, and a second standoff member sized and shaped to receive the board therethrough.

Ceiling tile ladder attachment device
The ceiling tile ladder attachment device holds ceiling tiles while a user is working on a ladder to install or replace the tiles in the ceiling, in addition to storing tiles that have to be removed from the ceiling and held for re-installation after performing other maintenance above the tiles. The ceiling tile ladder attachment device includes a rectangular wire rack that attaches to the back side of a ladder. The wire rack has a hook part on the back side. The hook part preferably attaches to the wire rack in two places to prevent the wire rack from swinging or slipping on the ladder. The hook part includes adjustable hook points for different styles and sizes of step ladders. The user can attach the ceiling tile ladder attachment device to the backside of the ladder using the hook part.

Top cap for multi-position ladder
An multi-position ladder is disclosed that includes an adjustable top cap that provides a tool or material tool tray when the ladder is in a stepladder position and provides a step when the ladder is in an extension ladder position is disclosed. The top cap generally comprises a rigid frame extending between the adjustable hinges of the multi-position ladder with a tool or utility tray and a step surface on opposing sides. The tool tray is parallel to the ladder rungs when the ladder is in a stepladder position, and the step surface provides a generally planar surface parallel the rungs when the ladder is in an extension position. The rigid frame of the top cap adds strength to the adjustment hinge and to the multi-position ladder. Embodiments allow for 12-inch hinge spacing, adding one foot reach in the extension position and six inch reach to the stepladder.
Adjustment mechanisms, ladders incorporating same and related methods
Ladders, ladder components and related methods are provided. In some embodiments, adjustable stepladders are provided which include locking mechanisms that enable height adjustment of the ladder through application of a force towards the rails of the ladder. The locking mechanism may include a base or bracket, a handle or lever pivotally coupled with the bracket, an engagement pin coupled with the lever, a biasing member to bias the handle towards a first position relative to the bracket, and a detent mechanism for retaining the lever in at least a second position relative to the bracket.
