WELL DRILLING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
Embodiments provide a well-drilling apparatus and a method of use.
Multi-function modular soil cavity creator tool
A multi-function service tool capable of creating numerous size cavities in the soil with the deployment of one or more various size cavity cutters attached to the tool t-handle. This modular flexibility concept allows service technicians of various industries and others to deploy a single configured tool, that contains specific attachments, to complete their various assigned service tasks.
Human-powered borehole drill
A human-powered borehole drill bridges the gap between large drilling rigs and the other less-effective manual methods. Intended mainly for developing countries, the design is affordable and also extremely simple, as very little product support or spare parts will be needed. The drill uses conventional drill pipe and drill bits allowing the drill system to mimic more conventional methods of drilling and existing hardware to maintain uniformity in drilling and easier access to more drilling products.
Drill attachment
A drill assembly attachment having a handle, a drill mount, and a throttle. The throttle may have a first portion and a second portion rotationally engaged with the first portion such that the second portion is rotationally actuated in response to linear actuation of the first portion of the throttle. The throttle is positioned with respect to the drill mount and the handle such that the first portion may be linearly actuated by a user with a hand grasping the handle. The drill assembly attachment receives a drill assembly such that the throttle adjustably engages a trigger of the drill assembly. The drill assembly attachment or the drill assembly receives an auger or other tool and the drill assembly attachment with the drill assembly and auger or other tool is used in a method of rotating the auger or other tool.
Vacuum assisted post hole digger tool and apparatus with rotary clog breaker
A tool for boring holes in soil includes an elongated tubular housing which has disposed through its length a bore having an upper opening coupleable to a vacuum source and a lower opening coupled to the bore of a ring-shaped bore head having circumferentially spaced apart cutting teeth protruding downwards from the bore head. A zig-zag shaped unclogger bar disposed coaxially through the bore head and rotated by a drive shaft disposed coaxially through the tubular and housing and protruding through a bearing in an upper end of the housing and driven by a rotary power source such as an electric motor fixed to the housing fragments lumps of clay or wet soil lodged in the bore of the housing, facilitating removal of soil and clay, which are severed by twisting the tool around its longitudinal axis by manipulating handle bars protruding from the upper end of the housing.
Handheld water drill and method
A water drilling system includes a handheld wand having a handle portion and a distal tip. A hose connects the handheld wand to a pressurized water source. The handheld wand is controllable to selectively discharge pressurized water from a nozzle at the distal tip. A non-metallic hollow shaft of the handheld wand is configured to be thrust into ground soil. The hollow shaft extends between the handle portion and the distal tip, and the hollow shaft has an outside diameter less than an outside diameter of the distal tip.
WEEP-HOLE DRILLING
Systems and methods for creating a weep hole in an uncured, concrete, hollow core structural component having one or more external surfaces and one or more internal surfaces. The weep hole is drilled using a drilling apparatus comprising a drill, a rotating drill bit with an internal fluid passageway, a power source, and a pressurized fluid source. Loose, uncured concrete material deposited near the weep hole on the one or more internal surface as a result of drilling the weep hole is removed by releasing pressurized fluid which flows from the pressurized fluid source, through the drill and the rotating drill bit.
Earth auger
A hole is formed in a drill target with improved workability. An electric work machine includes a motor, a motor housing accommodating the motor, a handle housing including a grip including a trigger switch operable to activate the motor, a reducer, a gear housing accommodating the reducer, a rotation output unit protruding frontward from the gear housing and rotatable under a rotational force transmitted from the motor through the reducer with a drill bit being attached to the rotation output unit, and a handle fastened to the gear housing and at least partially located laterally from the gear housing.
Vertical tiller
A vertical tiller comprises a rider disc or foot at the bottom of a helix or screw/auger, with the assemble further comprising angled winged appendages having angled sweep sections. The assembly further comprises a turned leading appendage. The turned leading appendage keeps the assembly relatively vertical to prevent the other appendages from fouling, cutting or entangling with cloth, wire or other elements often found at the bottom of planting pots, wire baskets and planting beds. The vertical tiller performs maceration and aeration within soil and provides a level of safety by the angled appendages that bounce off of a user's foot. The invention is well suited for remixing and amending soil and is intended for light soils having minimal rocks and large roots. The disclosed wing design assists having greater control over the tiller which is useful in selective tilling to promote soil biota.
Hand-held power tool
Disclosed herein is a hand-held power tool including a motor housing, a motor in the motor housing, an auger coupled to the motor and having a rotational axis, and a first handle coupled to the motor housing and including a grip. In some embodiments, the rotational axis of the auger and an axis of the grip subtend to an acute angle.
