A SAFETY DEVICE FOR ATTACHING TO A PIPE STRING COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF CONNECTED PIPE SECTIONS
A safety device (20) for attaching to a pipe string (10) comprising a plurality of connected pipe sections (12). The device is configured, comprises a support structure (22) and a clamping arrangement (24) comprising a first engagement member (32) and a second engagement member (34), which clamping arrangement (24) comprises a disengaged state and an engaged state. The support structure comprises a recess (30) adapted to receive the envelope surface of the pipe section. The first engagement member and the second engagement member are arranged in different parts of the recess so that opposite sides of the pipe section are clamped between the first engagement member and the second engagement member when the clamping arrangement is in the engaged state.
Rod clamp assembly and method
A rod clamp assembly including a first clamp member pivotally connected to a second clamp member, a handle pivotally connected to the first clamp member, and a lock bolt pivotally connected to the handle. The first and second clamp members each include a semi-cylindrical groove. A lock end of the lock bolt is configured to engage a receptacle of the second clamp member to pull the first and second clamp members together. An elongated portion of the handle is rotated to a locked position in which the first and second clamp members are secured together. A base of the handle, which engages the first clamp member, may include a notch for providing a quick close and quick open. Optionally, the rod clamp assembly includes a safety lock assembly, which engages the elongated portion of the handle to secure the handle in the locked position.

Apparatus for handling a blowout preventer stack
A clamp for attachment to a blow out preventer (BOP) stack for lifting and/or maneuvering the BOP stack and a method for attaching the clamp to the BOP stack is described. The clamp is formed from a first and second clamp half which are connected together using male and female connectors located at inner mating surfaces of the clamp halves, and locking connectors located at the outer edge of the clamp halves. The clamp includes at least two connection points for attaching the clamp and/or clamp halves to lifting devices for moving each clamp half and/or the whole clamp and BOP stack.
Pressure Control Equipment Systems and Methods
A system includes one or more processors configured to provide one or more control signals to cause supply of electric power from a power supply to one or more electric actuators. The one or more electric actuators are configured to adjust one or more components of a cable pressure control equipment (PCE) stack.

Hydraulic pump spacing device and system
A portable lifting device is provided for adjusting pump spacing of a production well. The lifting device rests directly on a well head flange and provides an expansive force between the flange and a temporary polish rod clamp or collet device is attached to a polished rod extending into the well head. The device includes first and second hydraulic cylinders for simultaneously lifting the polished rod to provide a gap between a carrier bar and a polished rod clamp.
Tool Trap Systems and Methods
A linkage assembly for a tool trap of a wireline pressure control equipment (PCE) stack includes a first linkage member and a keyed shaft positioned within an opening of the first linkage member. The first linkage member and the keyed shaft are configured to rotate together to transfer a force generated by an actuator to adjust a plate of the tool trap from a closed position to an open position. One or more gaps exist within the opening between the first linkage member and the keyed shaft to enable relative motion between the first linkage member and the keyed shaft to enable the tool to drive the plate from the closed position to the open position without back driving the actuator during withdrawal of the tool across the tool trap.

Riser methods and apparatuses
An apparatus including an external surface portion shaped so as to mate with a docking device, and two half-shells having internal surfaces of semi-circular cross section. The apparatus further includes a plurality of segments arranged inside the two half-shells and including teeth for gripping onto a shaft, and an installation tool operable to cause the two half-shells to close around the shaft, thereby securing the apparatus to the shaft.
