Casing centralizer

A casing centralizer comprising a cylindrical base and a plurality of blades extending from the cylindrical base. The plurality of blades and the cylindrical base are compression molded as a single piece from a mineral filled, glass and specialty fiber reinforced polyester molding compound.

System and method for disassembling drill assemblies

A system for disassembling a drill assembly including a drill bit and one or more columns interlinked with each other. The system includes a first clamping mechanism adapted to engage one of the drill bit or a first column, and a second clamping mechanism adapted to engage a second column disposed successively to the drill bit or the first column. The second clamping mechanism is turned relative to the first clamping mechanism to at least partially delink the second column from the first column or the drill bit. The system further includes a first actuator adapted to move one of the first clamping mechanism or the second clamping mechanism relative to the other to define a gap therebetween to reveal an interface between the second column and the drill bit or the first column for delinking the second column relative to the drill bit or the first column.

Method and Apparatus for a plug including a radial and collapsible gap within the continuous expandable sealing ring.

A plug assembly includes a continuous expandable sealing ring having an embedded radial gap feature. The continuous expandable sealing ring includes a first section with a prominent external surface, whereby the first section with a prominent external surface includes a radial gap underneath, and a second section with a second external surface. During the setting of the plug, the first prominent external surface comes in contact with the internal surface of the tubing string, while the radial gap underneath allows avoiding transmitting radial forces from the continuous sealing ring towards the tubing string, therefore keeping the majority of the force transmission from the expandable gripping ring towards the tubing string.

ELEVATOR ROLLER INSERT SYSTEM
20170342784 · 2017-11-30 ·

A device, system, and/or method for reducing friction required to rotate a tubular within an elevator during the process of running tubulars in an oil and gas well are provided. An elevator roller insert may be used in conjunction with an elevator, such as a single joint elevator. Such an insert may comprise upper and lower rollers which are positioned on upper and lower roller sets or a combination roller set containing multiple upper and/or lower rollers. The result is the provision of a plurality of rollers which bear the weight of a tubular yet still allow the tubular to rotate rather freely, facilitating the maintenance of proper thread integrity of the connections while making up a stand to a string of tubulars as well as preventing the loss of resources due to galled or crushed threads or a tubing segment or stand falling to the rig floor.

Systems, methods and apparatus for stabilizing a downhole tool and fluid flow

A centralizer for stabilizing fluid flow through a hollow shaft has a body with an axis, an outer surface and a circumference. Fins extend from the outer surface and include a first pair of fins that are axially aligned with each other and circumferentially spaced from each other. A second pair of fins are axially spaced a first distance from the first pair of fins. The second pair of fins are axially aligned with each other and circumferentially spaced from each other. The first and second pairs of fins are circumferentially offset from each other.

A dissolvable untethered object for use inside a well fluid includes an internal cavity and a fluid entry point. The internal cavity contains a gas. The fluid entry point is closed and selectively openable so that the internal cavity can be filled with the well fluid flowing through the fluid entry point. A dissolving rate of the dissolvable untethered object is modified after contact of the well fluid inside the internal cavity with the dissolvable untethered object.
