A release mechanism for a mechanically locked wiper plug system is provided. The release mechanism may utilize a shifting sleeve to rotate or pivot a release.sub, thus: disengaging a load shoulder and releasing the plug system, in some embodiments, the plug system may be mechanically locked to a running tool via corresponding slotted load shoulders in the running tool and on a release sub. The release sub may be connected: to an actuation sleeve via shear screws. Furthermore, the actuation sleeve may contain a guide consisting of one or more helical slotted guides which interact with the release sub shear screws.

Wet-Mate Retrievable Filter System

A mandrel in production tubing within a well has a side pocket with an inlet port for connection to an upper control line segment that extends upward alongside the production tubing. An outlet port is below the inlet port for connection to a lower control line segment extending below the pocket. A filter assembly is lowered through the production tubing into the pocket. A valve at a lower end of the pocket is movable from a closed position closing the outlet port to an open position opening the outlet port. A probe mounted to a lower end of the filter assembly engages and pushes the valve from the closed position to the open position while the filter assembly is being seated in the pocket.

Lock mandrel with spring-loaded locking collar

A lock mandrel is described herein. The lock mandrel includes an upper connector and a lower connector. The upper connector includes locking keys configured to attach the lock mandrel to a landing nipple on a tubing within a hydrocarbon well. The upper connector also includes a spring-loaded locking collar configured to prevent the locking keys from disengaging from the landing nipple by pressing radially against the locking keys from the inside when in a seated position, and allow the locking keys to disengage from the landing nipple by retracting away from the locking keys when in an unseated position. The lower connector includes a tool adaptor configured to attach a downhole tool to the lock mandrel.
