Positioning downhole-type tools
One downhole-type tool of a set of interchangeable downhole-type tools is interchangeably received by a pump-down adapter. The downhole-type tool is positioned by the pump-down adapter within a wellbore tubular. The downhole-type tool is released by the pump-down adapter.
Expanded ball seat
A method of installing a ball seat in a wellbore, comprising conveying the ball seat via a support member of a tool to a target location in the wellbore; moving an expansion sleeve longitudinally with respect to the tool to expand the ball seat radially to engage the ball seat to a support structure of the wellbore at the target location; and releasing the support member from the engaged ball seat.

Wellbore arrangement
A well component having a main bore and a lateral opening from the main bore, the well component further comprising a deflector surface arranged adjacent the lateral opening on an inner wall of the main bore and defining a path configured to guide one or more guide taps/fingers of a downhole tool away from the opening.

Unlocking and unblocking tool for disconnect assembly for cylindrical members
Disclosed is an assembly for disconnecting portions of a downhole tubular string, such as a drill stem or drill string, and removing an upper portion of the tubular string from the lower stuck portion in a well. The disconnect assembly includes a connection between joints of two portions of the tubular string. The assembly includes two tubular members and an inner sleeve having two splines each with different angular pitches or teeth counts. The assembly may include a rotary shouldered threaded connection, wherein the two tubular portions are disconnectable at the rotary shouldered threaded connection in the assembly. The assembly may include a sleeve lock, a selective no-go for landing in a profile, and a selectively deployable unlocking and unblocking tool for activating the assembly. The assembly may include connectable cylindrical members other than downhole tubulars.
Securing means for in-tubing probe retainer
An assembly for securing a probe retention member at a desired location within a tubular interior such as in a drill string collar. The assembly may use one or more securing members external to the retention member. In some embodiments most of the stresses from the probe retention structures of the retention member are isolated.

Apparatus and method for exchanging signals / power between an inner and an outer tubular
A well tool includes a first component, a second component, an orientation assembly, and a coupling device. The first component has a first device and the second component has a passage for receiving the first component and a second device. The orientation assembly causes a predetermined relative orientation between the first and the second component. The coupling device operatively couples the first device with the second device upon the orientation assembly orienting the first component with the second component in the predetermined relative orientation. The coupling device also communicates at least one of power and information between the first and the second device.
Retrievable Well Assemblies And Devices
A wellbore assembly can include a completion string having a side pocket. A downhole device can be positioned within the side pocket of the completion string. The downhole device can have a first end sized and shaped for coupling to a tool for inserting and removing the downhole device in the side pocket while the completion string is positioned downhole in a wellbore. The downhole device can be an electronic device.
