A downhole clean out tool includes a housing coupled to a downhole conveyance and defining an inner volume that includes a flow path that extends from an uphole end to a downhole end that includes a fluid inlet; a first flow port oriented towards the downhole end and configured to fluidly couple the flow path to an annulus of the wellbore through the housing; a seat formed in the housing and configured to receive a member inserted into the wellbore such that the flow of the wellbore fluid is diverted from the flow path, through the first flow port, to the annulus, and to the fluid inlet based on the member seated on the seat; at least one screen positioned in the inner volume; and a second flow port oriented towards the uphole end and configured to fluidly couple the flow path to the annulus of the wellbore.

Junk basket and related combinations and methods

A junk basket, comprising: mating parts, each mating part comprising an annulus covering portion, a cylindrical wall portion, a nipple seat portion and a nipple connector secured to the annulus covering portion, the cylindrical wall portion forming an interior wall to the annulus covering part; and the mating parts when mated forming an annulus covering surface, a nipple seat and a cylindrical wall forming an interior boundary to the annulus covering surface.

Removing debris from a wellbore

A downhole tool includes a top sub-assembly configured to connect to a downhole conveyance that is operable to run the tool into a wellbore formed from a terranean surface to a subterranean formation; a housing coupled at an uphole end to the top sub-assembly, the housing defining an interior volume; a vacuum positioned in the interior volume and configured to generate a fluid suction; a debris chamber fluidly coupled to the vacuum and positioned in the interior volume; a nozzle coupled at a downhole end of the housing, the nozzle including one or more openings; and a controller communicably coupled to the vacuum and configured to perform operations including activating the vacuum to generate the fluid suction to circulate wellbore debris through the vacuum and into the debris chamber.

Coiled tubing venturi junk basket tool and method of use

A coiled tubing venturi junk basket tool retrieves junk, debris and/or wireline from a wellbore. A collection housing or waste basket is removeably coupled to the venturi body. The collection housing (waste basket) is customizable for volume, hole diameter and the type of junk and debris retrieved. An elastomeric trap is used to retain junk and debris in the collection housing. The collection housing is also interchangeable with a grab housing for retrieving wireline.

Slickline shredder

A slickline shredder tool includes a housing, a housing inlet, a power receiver, a shredder coupled to the power receiver, and a storage unit. The shredder rotates about a first axis when the power receiver receives power. Malfunctioning slickline enters the housing through the housing inlet and is shredded into shredded pieces by the shredder. The shredded pieces are stored in the storage unit.

Wellbore cleanout magnet tool

A wellbore cleanout magnet tool includes a housing and a door positioned within the housing. The housing can be connected to a wellbore tubing. The housing defines an interior volume and an opening on a circumferential surface of the housing. The door is positioned within the housing. The door can transition between an open position in an absence of wellbore fluid flow through the housing and a closed position in a presence of the wellbore fluid flow through the housing. A magnet is disposed in the interior volume. In the absence of the wellbore fluid flow through the housing, the door exposes the opening and the magnet to an environment outside the housing. In the presence of the wellbore fluid flow through the housing, the door closes the opening on the circumferential surface of the housing and isolates the magnet from the environment.

An apparatus, method and system for debris removal using a debris removal tool. The tool has a generally-cylindrical tool body having an upper end, a lower end, a central axis, an interior chamber and an external surface. A nozzle plate, disposed within the tool body, has an array of nozzles disposed therein. Each of the nozzles has a principal axis angled with respect to the central axis of the body of the debris removal tool, in order to direct fluid from the interior chamber of the tool body to the exterior of the tool at an angle.

Downhole Debris-Collecting Tool Having An Improved Valve

The downhole tool comprises: (i) a housing connected with a collection chamber for receiving debris, the housing having an opening for collecting the debris from the petroleum well, the opening in fluid communication with the collection chamber through the housing; (ii) a rotatable shaft with transport blades arranged within the housing and extending from the opening to the collection chamber, the rotatable shaft configured for transporting debris from the opening to the collection chamber in operational use; (iii) an annular area defined between the rotatable shaft and an inner wall of the housing and (iv) a valve configured for keeping debris in the collection chamber. The valve is located within the housing between the opening and the collection chamber. The valve comprises a seal member with a movable part mounted in the annular area and around the rotatable shaft. The valve is opened when the movable part moves in direction of the collection chamber and is configured such that the movable part of the seal member is only movable in the direction towards the collection chamber when closed. The downhole tool provides a valve, which is easily opened, requiring a very small force, while providing a very good sealing effect when the seal member is closed.
