Flapper on frac plug
Zonal isolation devices, systems, and methods for use are provided. In some embodiments, the zonal isolation device comprises a tubular body having a fluid communication pathway formed along a longitudinal axis comprising: a sealing element comprising a deformable material and an inner bore forming at least a portion of the fluid communication pathway; a support ring disposed within the bore of the sealing element; a rotatable sealing component coupled to the support ring; a wedge engaged with a downhole end of the sealing element; and an anchoring assembly engaged with the wedge. In certain embodiments, the tubular body further comprises an end element adjacent the anchoring assembly.
DIFFERENTIAL FILL VALVE WITH COLLET SLEEVE
A valve housing has a first flapper moveable from an open position in the housing in which two-way flow is allowed to a closed position in which only one-way flow is permitted. A first collet sleeve is moveable from a first position to a second position in the valve housing. The first collet sleeve in the first position retains the flapper valve in the open position. The collet sleeve is moveable from a first position to a second position which allows the flapper to move to a closed position.
Downhole tool securable in a tubular string
A downhole tool includes a tubular, an inner valve assembly positioned in the tubular, and a body positioned radially between the inner valve assembly and the tubular, the body at least partially made from a bonding agent configured to secure the inner valve assembly in the tubular.
Method and apparatus for fluid-activated shifting tool to actuate a plug assembly
A fluid-activated shifting tool includes a fluid entry valve, a piston, a fluid pressure chamber and a relief pressure chamber. The piston can shift and provide a force relative to the toolstring using the pressure differential created between the pressure within the fluid pressure chamber compared to the pressure within the relief pressure chamber. The fluid entry valve provides a temporary fluid entry barrier between the well fluid and the fluid pressure chamber. At a selected depth within the wellbore, the fluid entry valve can be actuated, providing well fluid hydrostatic pressure inside the fluid pressure chamber. The shifting force of the piston can be used to acuate or set a plug within a tubing string of the wellbore.
ELECTROSTATIC MOTOR CONTROL OF A SUB SURFACE SAFETY VALVE
An apparatus includes a sub-surface safety valve (SSSV) to be positioned in a wellbore. The SSSV is configurable to move between a closed position and an open position. While in the closed position, the SSSV prevents downhole fluid in the wellbore to flow to a surface of the wellbore. While in the open position, the SSSV allows the downhole fluid in the wellbore to flow to the surface of the wellbore. The apparatus further includes an electrostatic motor to be positioned in the wellbore and to be coupled to the SSSV. The electrostatic motor is to be selectively powered to move the SSSV between the closed position and the open position.
Method and apparatus for a joint-locking plug
A joint-locking plug is deployed next to tubing joint connection gap. The actuation of the joint-locking plug allows expanding a gripping portion which includes a protrusion section. The contact between the protrusion section of the gripping portion with the inner surface of the tubing string allows to end the actuation. Due to the bi-stable slips, the pumping of an actuated plug will engage the protrusion section of the gripping portion inside the joint connection gap, and provide the locking of the gripping portion of the plug. By further applying a fluid pressure, the anchoring section of the gripping portion gets engaged and further set the plug in place, allowing to perform further operation with the plug.

Frac system with flapper valve
A frac system including a frac tree. The frac tree includes a frac head. The frac head defines a first inlet, a second inlet, and an outlet. The frac head receives frac fluid through the first inlet and directs the frac fluid to the outlet fluidly coupled to a wellhead. A valve couples to the second inlet of the frac head. A flapper valve is within the frac head. The flapper valve moves between an open position and a closed position to control fluid flow to the valve through the second inlet. The flapper valve aligns with a first axis of the outlet and the second inlet in the closed position and aligns with a second axis of the first inlet in the open position.
Surge reduction system for running liner casing in managed pressure drilling wells
A system for controlling surge pressure and deployed into a wellbore drilled using a managed pressure drilling technique includes auto-fill float equipment allowing flow into a liner casing string, a drillpipe diverter providing a flow path between a drillpipe landing string and an annulus, and a drillpipe flow restrictor selectively blocking the flow path from the top of the drillpipe landing string while allowing fluid to be displaced up the liner casing string and into the annulus. The drillpipe flow restrictor and the drillpipe diverter are convertible to provide a flow path from the wellbore through the auto-fill float equipment to a top surface while blocking flow through the diverter into the annulus. The auto-fill float equipment is convertible to block the flow path from the wellbore into the liner casing string, while allowing fluid to flow from the liner casing string into the wellbore.
Subsurface safety valve with uniform loading
A subsurface safety valve assembly that includes a valve housing comprising a valve seat with a circumference and a seat seal surface. The valve assembly also includes a flapper rotatably connected to the valve housing and comprising a flapper seal surface. The flapper is rotatable into sealing engagement with the seat seal surface in a closed position to form a circumferential surface-to-surface seal. The valve assembly also includes a dovetail groove cut into the seat seal surface or the flapper seal surface and a seal ring held within the dovetail groove and positioned to form a seal against the seal ring when the flapper is in the closed position. The seat seal surface, the flapper seal surface, the dovetail groove, and the seal ring are shaped such that the load on the seal ring is uniform around the seal ring when the flapper is in the closed position.
