Chisel device and wear-protected chisel for ground milling machines
The present invention relates to a chisel device for a ground milling machine, comprising a chisel holder having a mounting orifice and a milling chisel, wherein the milling chisel has a basic body of, in particular, a uniform material and has a shaft and a tool region, said shaft being held, under working conditions, in the mounting orifice while the tool region (P) protrudes, under working conditions, from the chisel holder, wherein said milling chisel has a wear protection cap consisting of carbide and having a tip and a protective jacket, wherein the wear protection cap is positioned on the tool region (P) in such a manner that it covers at least 70% of the external surface of the tool region (P). The present invention also relates to a milling chisel for such a chisel device.
Pick sleeve
The invention relates to a pick sleeve (10) including a head (12) and a shank (14). The head (12) includes a central part (20) and a bearing member (22) which is secured to the central part (20). The bearing member (22) is separable from the central part (20) in order to facilitate removal of the pick sleeve (10) from a holder (38). The invention extends to a tool (50) which is used in the removal of the pick sleeve (10) from the holder (38).
Wear protection cap
The invention relates to a wear protection cap for a bit holder arrangement, having at least two panel segments, located at an angle to one another, for covering surface regions of the bit holder arrangement, the panel segments being integrally joined to one another and the wear protection cap being configured as a cast metal part or as a forged metal part. With a wear protection cap of this kind, the service life of a bit holder arrangement can be substantially improved and machine stoppage time can be decreased.
Chisel holder for a soil treatment machine
The invention relates to a bit holder for an earth working machine, in particular a road milling machine, that comprises a bit receptacle in the region of a working side of a support member and that indirectly or directly carries an insertion projection on an insertion projection side of the support member, the support member comprising two stripping surfaces [first or second stripping surfaces] that form a stripping surface pair and are at an angle to one another. In order to achieve a stable and long-lived configuration with such a bit holder, provision is made according to the present invention that the support member comprises at least one further stripping surface that is at an angle to the two stripping surfaces of the stripping surface pair.

Tapered pick holder
A pick system includes a holder and a pick assembly. The holder includes a first end, a second end, and a bore extending between the first end and the second end and defining a longitudinal axis. The surface of the bore may be tapered so that the diameter of the bore proximate the first end is greater than the diameter of the bore proximate the second end. The pick assembly includes a shaft. The shaft is received within the bore of the holder along the longitudinal axis, and the shaft may be tapered to mate with the bore.

Chisel holder
The invention relates to a bit holder for an earth working machine, in particular a road milling machine, having a support member onto which an insertion projection is indirectly or directly attached on an insertion projection side, the support member comprising two first and/or two second stripping surfaces that are at an angle to one another, and the support member having a working side that comprises a bit receptacle. In order to achieve a stable and long-lived configuration for such a bit holder, provision is made according to the present invention that the first and/or second stripping surfaces diverge from the insertion projection side toward the working side.

Locking System to Prevent Rotation of Toolholder
A mounting block assembly and method for assembling is disclosed. The mounting block assembly may comprise a mounting block and a toolholder. The mounting block may include a flighting portion, a mounting portion and a protrusion. The mounting portion defines a first bore that is configured to receive a toolholder. The toolholder includes a generally cylindrical sidewall that defines an axis and defines a second bore that is configured to receive a stem of a cutting bit. The sidewall includes a pair of radially outward extending prongs that define a first recess between the prongs. The first recess is configured to interlockably receive the protrusion when the toolholder is disposed in the mounting portion, wherein the interlocked configuration of the toolholder and the mounting block inhibit rotational movement of the toolholder about the axis.
