SEED TENDER WITH AUTOMATIC CONVEYOR POSITIONING
20250223113 · 2025-07-10 ·

A seed tender includes a supplying container configured to hold seed and a conveyor configured to transfer the seed to a receiving container. The seed tender includes first and second actuators configured to selectively control the movement of the conveyor. The seed tender includes a sensor system configured to detect at least one of an object in a path of movement of the conveyor, a position of the conveyor, or an orientation of the conveyor. The seed tender includes an electronic control unit configured to receive a signal from the sensor system and to selectively energize and de-energize the first and second actuators based at least in part on the signal from the sensor system. The controlled movement of the conveyor is at least partially based on at least one of the detected object, the detected position of the conveyor, or the detected orientation of the conveyor.

Bulk transfer delivery system for multiple agricultural products

An improved bulk transfer system for an agricultural seeder or planter breaks up the central fill system into two stages for supplying a plurality of agricultural products simultaneously to an array of metering pods, each pod containing a plurality of metering assemblies. Firstly, there is a continuous transfer of agricultural product from a trailing product cart to intermediate mini tanks mounted on a central frame and located adjacent the seeding drills and plurality of metering assemblies. The pressurized mini tanks receive agricultural products on demand. Secondly, agricultural products are transferred on demand from the mini tanks to each of the corresponding metering assemblies along the seeding drill. This arrangement enables redistribution of the weight of the bulk of the product farther away from the seeding drills, allowing for greater tow-behind product volumes.

A conveyor apparatus includes a conveyor sloping upward from a lower conveyor intake to an upper conveyor discharge and with a downspout extending down from the conveyor discharge. Wheels support the conveyor for movement along the ground, and a downspout control is operative to remotely move a bottom end of the downspout radially with respect to the conveyor discharge. A method is provided as well for using the conveyor to conveniently transfer a first agricultural product from a first transport vehicle to a first tank on the air seeder cart, and for transferring a second agricultural product from a second transport vehicle to a second tank.

A seed tender includes a supplying container configured to hold seed, a transfer element, a sensor system, and an actuator configured to control the movement of the transfer element. The transfer element is configured to transfer the seed from the supplying container to a receiving container and includes a conveyor and a discharge spout coupled to the conveyor. The discharge spout is configured to direct the seed into the receiving container. The sensor system is associated with the discharge spout. Moving at least a portion of the discharge spout in a first direction activates the sensor system thereby energizing the actuator which moves the transfer element in a first corresponding direction associated with the first direction.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for bulk material meter calibration

An example container for collecting bulk material dispensed from a meter during a calibration operation may include a canister comprising an open end to receive bulk material, a coupler configured to releasably couple to a meter, and at least one weight sensor extending between the enclosure and the coupler. The weight sensor may be configured to detect weight of the bulk material deposited into the enclosure via the open end.

Agricultural machines having sectional control, and related systems and methods

An agricultural machine includes a product bin configured to store particulate material; a conveyor configured to draw the particulate material from the product bin; a distribution plate including a plurality of apertures; and a sectional control funnel box mounted on the distribution plate. The sectional control funnel box is configured to receive particulate material from the conveyor, and has a plurality of chutes extending therethrough and connecting the sectional control funnel box to the distribution plate. Distribution lines are configured to receive particulate material from a single aperture of the distribution plate and provide the particulate material to a distribution point of the distribution line. A system controller is configured to individually control a flow of the particulate material to each distribution line based on a location of the agricultural machine. Related systems and methods are also disclosed.

TOWABLE AIR CART

A towable cart (100, 200) for storing granular and/or liquid product, the towable cart (100, 200) including a chassis (300) configured for attachment to a prime mover, the chassis (300) including a plurality of mounting points (310) that provide releasable and reconfigurable attachment of a plurality of product tanks (400).
