Multi-unit bulk seed-box seed tender
A farm implement is provided. The farm implement includes a frame having a bed and a conveyor mounted to the frame. The farm implement further includes a latch mechanism for securing two or more bulk seed-boxes mounted on a plurality of bulk seed-box locations. The latch mechanism includes a handle to activate the latch mechanism and two or more latches located adjacent to one or more of the bulk seed-box locations, and is moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position. In the latched position, the two or more latches are configured to engage with the bulk seed-boxes to secure the bulk seed-boxes to the bed. In the unlatched position, the two or more latches are configured to disengage from the bulk seed-boxes to allow for the bulk seed-boxes to be unloaded from or loaded onto the bed.
Retracting and swivelling transfer apparatus for attachment to a mobile conveyor
A transfer apparatus for loading a main conveyor of an implement, for example a seed cart, includes a guide track mounted along the main conveyor, a carriage frame movable along the guide track from a deployed position aligned within an inlet opening of the main conveyor and a retracted position displaced along the main conveyor towards the discharge end from the deployed position, and a transfer conveyor including a discharge end operatively connected to the carriage frame for discharging into the inlet end of the main conveyor in the deployed position. The carriage frame including a swivel formed therein which supports the transfer duct for pivotal movement relative to the guide track about an upright swivel axis and about a lateral tilt axis in the deployed position.
MULTI-UNIT BULK SEED-BOX SEED TENDER

System For Distributing Particulate Material With Section Delayed Control
The invention provides a control system configured to start/stop metering of particulate material, upon command from a user, or according to a prescription map, with calculated sequencing and delays for starting/stopping boom sections, in order to achieve a substantially uniform distribution of material along a target line. In one aspect, following a command to stop metering, programming of when meters (corresponding to booms sections) turn off is updated to follow a delayed order according to multiple parameters, including ground speed of the machine, and flow of material, as determined by type of material, fan speed, tube diameter and tube length. The control system can dynamically account for such parameters to determine timing for when boom sections are selectively enabled/disabled to achieve the substantially uniform distribution.
FERTILIZER METER WITH MOTOR CONTROL AND METHOD THEREOF
An agricultural implement for distributing fertilizer to a plurality of rows includes a fertilizer container, a plurality of fertilizer metering units, and a plurality of motors. The fertilizer containers are used for storing the fertilizer prior to the fertilizer being distributed to the soil. The plurality of fertilizer metering units each include a housing and a metering device positioned in the housing. The housing has an inlet configured to receive fertilizer from the fertilizer container and an outlet. The plurality of motors are each drivingly coupled to and configured to rotate at least one metering device to distribute fertilizer to a row of the plurality of rows.
SEED CARRIER WITH PIVOTING CONVEYOR
A seed carrier includes a main hopper coupled with a frame via leg members. The main hopper has a discharge. A base plate is coupled with the frame. A support arm is rotatably coupled with the base plate at a first end. A belt driven conveyor having a conveyor hopper at a first end and a discharge at a second end is rotatably coupled with a second end of said support arm at an approximate center of gravity thereof. A latch mechanism is provided for detachably coupling the first end of the conveyor with the first end of the support arm such that the conveyor hopper is position below the main hopper discharge. When the conveyor is uncoupled from the first end of the support arm, the conveyor can rotate to a loading position wherein the discharge thereof can be positioned over the main hopper.
VEHICLE FOR RECEIVING AND DELIVERING AGRICULTURAL SEEDS AND OTHER GRANULAR MATERIAL
A vehicle for receiving and delivering granular material, such as agricultural seeds, includes a frame supporting a container defining an open top chamber having a bottom outlet. An elongated conveyor is supported by a system which includes a first support arm having one end pivotally connected to a side wall of the container for multiple directional movement and a second support arm pivotably connected to the opposite end of the first support arm. The opposite end of the second support arm supports an intermediate portion of the conveyor near its center of gravity and in suspended relation for tilting and rotating the conveyor. Power actuators are connected to rotate and pivot the first support arm to position the conveyor in many selected positions including the conveyor inlet under the outlet of the chamber, a storage position and a position between horizontal and substantially inclined for filling other containers.
SUPPORT VEHICLE FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM
A system for refilling a resource of an agricultural system includes the agricultural system including a tank that stores the resource. The system also includes a support vehicle including a container that stores the resource, a locating system that outputs a first signal indicative of a position of the support vehicle, a transfer system that includes a resource transfer device, and a controller communicatively coupled to the locating system and the transfer system including a processor and a memory. The controller determines a target location in a field to position the support vehicle, control the support vehicle such that the support vehicle is directed toward the target location, and instruct the transfer system to activate the resource transfer device to transfer the resource from the container to the tank while the position of the agricultural system is within a threshold distance of the target location.
Spreader Device
A spreader device for distributing agricultural materials over a defined delivery path, the device including a container for holding the materials atop a conveyor system that distributes the material over a delivery path that is adjustable in width. In the primary embodiment the container includes telescopically adjustable sidewalls that enable a user to control the width of the delivery path.
