Some systems include: a main gate; and a tailgate connected to the maingate by an active mine face; wherein the active mine face extends at an angle between 95 and 135 relative to the maingate.

Mobile conveyor device for the delivery of tunnel liners

A system for folding and deploying liners within tunnels includes a mobile conveyor device having a base frame including a plurality of wheels supporting a support frame. The mobile conveyor device also includes a folding assembly mounted upon the support frame at a position adjacent a first end of the base frame and a conveyor assembly mounted upon the support frame at a position adjacent a second end of the base frame.

DRILLING APPARATUS

A drilling apparatus including a drill is disclosed for use with a mine roof bolter. The apparatus includes a support adapted to rotate the drill about two different axes. The first axis may be a vertical axis and the second axis may be a horizontal axis. The drilling apparatus includes a mast for supporting the drill and allowing relative movement of the drill with respect to the mast. The drilling apparatus additionally includes an element for longitudinally moving the mast with respect to the support. The drilling apparatus may further include a mesh aligner for aligning the mesh with respect to the drill. A drill guide with a small footprint may also be included which is capable retracting within a housing to avoid interference with a face of the mine when positioning the drilling apparatus.

TUNNEL SUPPORT INSTALLATION APPARATUS

An apparatus to install structural supports in a mine tunnel is conveniently mountable on a mining machine having a cutting head mounted at one end of a boom. An extendable and slewing manipulator arm of the apparatus is mounted on a support platform that is slidable in the axial forward and rearward direction and includes a grasping device to hold the structural supports in a plurality of different positions.

Automatic leveling carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) plate pre-stressing and tensioning devices for curved surface structures

Disclosed is an automatic leveling CFRP plate pre-stressing and tensioning device for a curved surface structure, including a fixed end mechanism and a tension end mechanism, one end of the CFRP plate is connected to the fixed end mechanism and the other end is connected to the tension end mechanism, and the fixed end mechanism cooperating with the tension end mechanism to reinforce a curved surface. The fixed end mechanism includes a fixed end base plate, a fixture, a fixed end CFRP plate clamping plate, and a second high-strength bolt. The fixed end base plate is provided with a slide groove, the fixture is hinged within the slide groove by the second high-strength bolt; the fixture is provided with a fixture groove, and a size of the fixture groove decreases from one end of the fixture near the tension end mechanism to the other end of the fixture.
