A rock drilling machine, rock drilling rig and method of measuring physical features during rock drilling is provided. The rock drilling machine includes one or more sensing devices, which are arranged in connection with a bendable sensing cord. The sensing cord is fed via a feed passage to a flushing passage of a drilling tool.
UMBRELLA-SHAPED ANCHOR FOR QUICK REINFORCEMENT OF ROCK MASS, AND APPLICATION METHOD
The invention provides an umbrella-shaped anchor for rapid reinforcement of rock mass. The umbrella-shaped anchor for rapid reinforcement of the rock mass comprises an umbrella-shaped anchor head and a connecting rod. The umbrella-shaped head comprises the sliding mechanism, bearing block, guide block and main rod of anchor head. The main rod of anchor head is connected with the sliding mechanism after passing through the through-hole located in the middle of the guide block The sliding mechanism is connected with the connecting rod through the main rod of the anchor head. The multiple upper parts of bearing blocks are respectively inserted into the groove of the guide block, and they are fully fitted with the side guide rail of the sliding mechanism During installation, after the umbrella anchor head and connecting rod in the retracted state are extended into the anchor hole, the connecting rod is tensioned to drive the sliding mechanism to extrude the bearing block to open outwards and squeeze with the hole surface. The invention converts the tensile force of the anchor rod into the extrusion pressure on the rock mass, and obtains the larger anchoring force by using the higher compressive strength of the rock mass. The invention has the advantages of large applicable depth, fast construction speed, high efficiency, no grouting, large structural resistance and good stability.
Electric drilling and bolting device
A drilling and bolting device for driving a drill element into a rock surface includes a frame, a drive unit supported for movement relative to the frame, and an actuator for moving the drive unit relative to the frame. The drive unit includes a motor and a chuck for engaging the drill element. The chuck is driven by the motor. In some aspects, the actuator includes a magnet exerting a magnetic force on the block to provide magnetic coupling between the actuator and a block supporting the motor. In some aspects, the actuator is positioned at least partially within an elongated member of the frame. In some aspects, the drive unit includes a switched reluctance motor including a stator and a rotor supported for rotation relative to the stator, and the rotor is directly coupled to the chuck.
Integrated drill chuck
An integrated drill chuck for installing mine roof bolts includes a single integrated piece, the single integrated piece including a body defining a receiving cavity, where the receiving cavity is configured to receive and secure a bit having a square-shaped end and a bit having a hex-shaped end. A drill for installing mine roof bolts is also disclosed. A method for installing mine roof bolts is also disclosed.
PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING ANCHOR BOLT AND ANCHOR CABLE ON SUCCESSIVE MINING WORKING FACE
A process for supporting an anchor bolt and an anchor cable on a continuous mining working face is provided. A four-arm top anchor bolt drill carriage serves as a front carriage, a six-arm side anchor bolt and top anchor cable and top anchor cable drill carriage serves as a rear carriage, and the two carriages are arranged in a front-rear direction to work in parallel. Four anchor bolt drill machines of the four-arm top anchor bolt drill carriage face to a top plate. Two drill machines are disposed in front of the six-arm side anchor bolt and the top anchor cable drill carriage. At a distance of four meters away, another two drill machines are disposed. Two top anchor cable drill machines are disposed in a middle of the anchor bolt drill machines and face to the top plate.
LINKAGE ASSEMBLY FOR DRILLING MACHINE
A linkage assembly for a drilling machine includes a first arm, a second arm, an actuation member, and a connector assembly. A first end of the first arm is pivotally coupled to a positioning member at a first pivot joint. A first end of the second arm is pivotally coupled to a feed table at a second pivot joint. A first end of the actuation member is pivotally coupled to the feed table at a third pivot joint. The connector assembly is fixedly coupled to a second end of the first arm, and pivotally coupled to a second end of the second arm and a second end of the actuation member. The linkage assembly is adapted to pivot the feed table relative to the positioning member about a pivot axis based on movement of the actuation member between an extended position and a retracted position.
Rock bolt installation tool
A tool to aid in the installation of a rock bolt assembly in a rock hole which includes a drive shaft having a proximal end, which is adapted to engage with a drilling rig, and a distal end which includes a recess which is adapted to receive a trailing end portion of the rock bolt and which has a first seat against which an axially pre-set component of the rock bolt assembly abuts, a tubular sleeve telescopically engaged with the shaft which has a first end, which is adapted to receive an axially moveable component of the rock bolt assembly and which has a second seat against which the axially moveable component abuts, and a second end, wherein the sleeve is reciprocally moveable relatively to the shaft between a biased forward position in which the axially pre-set component and the axially moveable component are spaced, and a retracted second position in which the axially pre-set component engages or connects to the axially moveable component.
Safety plug
A safety plug for use in rock drilling operations. The safety plug includes a base part and one or more expander elements. The base part has a leading end and a trailing end and a generally cylindrical outer surface between the leading and trailing ends, on which one or more external spirals are formed. The external spirals are provided to engage the internal wall of a bore within which the safety plug is inserted to anchor the base part within the bore. The one or more expander elements have an inactive non-expanded condition and an active, laterally expanded condition. The safety plug is operable to absorb load applied to its leading end in two stages, whereby: in a first stage, load applied to the leading end of the one or more expander elements up to a predetermined load is transferred to the base part and the base part is operable to react the load by engagement of the spirals with the internal wall of the bore. In a second stage, load applied to the same leading end beyond the predetermined load causes the one or more expander elements to transition to the active condition in which the expander elements expand laterally to engage the internal wall of the bore to resist shifting movement of the safety plug within the bore in the direction of the applied load.
