11771752 · 2023-10-03 · ·

The present invention describes a neurotoxin associated protein from botulinum neurotoxin complex used as an oral or nasal delivery system for a vaccine. The vaccine is selected from tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis alone or in combination. Further the oral or nasal delivery of tetanus vaccine in combination with other drug molecules.

PRODUCTION OF MHC II/CII COMPLEXES

The present invention relates to in situ glycosylated MHC II/CII peptide complexes, i.e., complexes naturally glycosylated during recombinant protein expression in the host cell. The invention further relates to methods of producing glycosylated MHC II/CII peptide complexes in mammalian cells. Furthermore the invention relates to the use of such post-translationally modified, preferably glycosylated MHC II/CII complexed for use in treating rheumatoid arthritis, preferably in humans.

METHODS OF USE FOR CAR T CELLS

The present disclosure relates to methods of treating a patient with a cancer by administering to the patient a composition comprising CAR T cells wherein the CAR T cells comprise a CAR and the CAR comprises an E2 anti-fluorescein antibody fragment, and administering to the patient a small molecule linked to a targeting moiety by a linker. The disclosure also relates to compositions for use in such methods.

Sustained release cowpea mosaic virus or virus-like particle therapeutic constructs for the treatment of cancer

A method of treating cancer in a subject in need thereof includes administering in situ to cancer cells of the subject a nanoparticle construct that includes a plurality of cowpea mosaic virus or virus-like particles electrostatically coupled to a plurality of G4 dendrimers having a different surface charge than the cowpea mosaic virus or virus-like particles. The nanoparticle construct upon delivery to a subject can provide a sustained release of the cowpea mosaic virus or virus-like particles and/or G4 dendrimers to a cell or tissue of the subject. The cancer selected from the group consisting of melanoma, breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, and ovarian cancer.

Peptide conjugated particles

The present invention provides compositions comprising peptide-coupled biodegradable poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLG) particles. In particular, PLG particles are surface-functionalized to allow for coupling of peptide molecules to the surface of the particles (e.g., for use in eliciting induction of immunological tolerance).

Her2/neu immunogenic composition

The invention provides for an immunogenic composition comprising a. a directed adjuvant comprising at least an anti-CD32 moiety linked to a TLR9 ligand and a first peptidic alpha-helix; and b. an immunogen comprising an extracellular Her2/neu domain that is linked to a second peptidic alpha-helix coiled to the first alpha-helix; The invention further provides a kit for producing such immunogenic composition, a vaccine comprising such immunogenic composition and its medical use, such as for treating Her2/neu positive tumor diseases.

In particular, PLG particles are surface-functionalized to allow for coupling of peptide molecules to the surface of the particles (e.g., for use in eliciting induction of immunological tolerance).

PLANT VIRUS OR VIRUS-LIKE PARTICLE CONSTRUCTS

A nanoparticle construct includes a plurality of plant virus or virus-like particles electrostatically coupled to a plurality of nanoparticles having a different surface charge than the plant virus or virus-like particles. The nanoparticle construct upon delivery to a subject can provide a sustained release of the plant virus or virus-like particles and/or nanoparticles to a cell or tissue of the subject.

Heat shock protein-binding peptide compositions and methods of use thereof

Provided are polypeptides and compositions comprising novel HSP-binding peptides. Such polypeptides and compositions are particularly useful as immunotherapeutics (e.g., cancer vaccines). Also provided are methods of inducing a cellular immune response using such polypeptides and compositions, methods of treating a disease using such polypeptides and compositions, kits comprising such polypeptides and compositions, and methods of making such compositions.
