Dendritic-cell-targeted peptide, fusion peptide utilizing said peptide, and vaccine utilizing said fusion peptide

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a peptide that is capable of efficiently delivering an antigen to dendritic cells and improving the vaccine effects of the antigen. A peptide that has at least one motif sequence comprising the amino acid sequence of sequence listing 1, or an amino acid sequence comprising the aforementioned amino acid sequence, but in which a mutation has been induced in the amino acid residue at the first and/or second position of the amino acid sequence, is bound to an antigen protein or an antigen peptide to efficiently deliver the antigen protein or antigen peptide to dendritic cells, allowing for significantly superior vaccine effects to be exhibited.

METHODS, KITS, AGENTS AND APPARATUSES FOR TRANSDUCTION

Provided herein are methods for transducing a plurality of cells in a composition of cells, such as a population of lymphocytes, containing viral particles. In some aspects, provided methods and reagents for the transduction of cell populations involve binding of agents to a molecule on the surface of the cells. In some cases, the reagents are multimerization reagents and the one or more agents are multimerized by reversibly binding to the reagent. In some aspects, the multimerized agent can provide for transduction and/or expansion or proliferation or other stimulation of a population of cells, and then such agents can be removed by disruption of the reversible bond. Also provided are compositions, apparatus and methods of use thereof.

The presently-disclosed subject matter includes a multivalent biological construct that comprises a scaffold of anisometric dimensions, comprises a biodegradable hydrophobic core coated with a hydrophilic coat of fluidic material, and pluralities of bioactive molecules tethered to said scaffold. The multivalent biologic construct interacts simultaneously with multiple corresponding binding sites, increasing the functional affinity to induce an augmented therapeutic action in the form of stimulation, activation, competitive inhibition, consumptive inhibition or modulation of a biological system. Embodiments of the presently-disclosed subject matter include methods for preparation of the present construct as well as methods for using the present constructs to overcome cellular resistance, as thrombolytics, as competitive inhibitors, as consumptive inhibitors, as vaccines and as immunomodulators to treat a subject in need thereof.

The disclosure pertains to methods of immunotherapy for treating diseases and disorders which involve cellular Fc receptor mediated immune responses in humans and animals.

MULTIPLE ANTIGEN PRESENTING IMMUNOGENIC COMPOSITION, AND METHODS AND USES THEREOF

The present embodiments provide for an immunogenic multiple antigen presenting system comprising a polymer to which antigens are associated by complementary affinity molecules. For example, the polymer can be a polysaccharide, or antigenic polysaccharide, to which protein or peptide antigens from the same or different pathogens are indirectly linked. The present immunogenic compositions can elicit both humoral and cellular immune responses to one or multiple antigens at the same time.

Virus like particle with efficient epitope display

The invention relates to a virus like particle (VLP) based vaccine. The virus-like particle constitutes a non-naturally occurring, ordered and repetitive antigen array display scaffold which can obtain a strong and long-lasting immune response in a subject. The VLP based vaccine may be used for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of a disease including, but is not limited to, cancer, cardiovascular, infectious, asthma, and/or allergy diseases/disorders.
