METHOD FOR LAYING A RAIL OF A RAILWAY TRACK
20200157746 · 2020-05-21 ·

A work train lays a rail of a railway track. The work train has a heating device with a heating zone, gas burners, and a radiant body interposed between the gas burners and the heating zone. The radiant body has openings that open into the heating zone. The work train is moved in a laying direction, so that at each moment a portion of the rail to be fixed passes through the heating zone. Heat is supplied to the rail to be fixed through the heating zone by feeding the gas burner so that no flame emerges from the openings in the heating zone and that at least 75% of the heat supplied to the rail is transmitted by radiation from the radiant body. Then the rail is fixed after the heat has been applied to a tie of the railway track behind the heating zone in the laying direction.

Procedure for laying railway tracks

A procedure for laying railway tracks on a trackbed on which sleepers (20) are located, that comprises at least the following steps: a) approach of a track laying train (30) with the stretches of rail (1) to be laid in the laying area; b) joining of the pairs of rails (1) to the consecutive rails (1) by means of tractor plates (200); c) unloading the pairs of rails (1) from the track laying train (30) onto the bed; d) squaring of the sleepers (20) by means of a squaring device; e) joining of the consecutive pairs of rails (1) by means of a joint plate (100); f) unloading of ballast in hoppers onto the bed; g) tamping of the rails (1); h) profiling of the ballast by means of a profiling device (400); i) welding of the rails (1).

A movable equipment loading and unloading structure for movably mounting equipment within a container includes a loading and unloading assembly and a guide assembly. The loading and unloading assembly includes a loading and unloading rail mounted to a ceiling of the container and a loading and unloading wheel assembly movably coupled to the loading and unloading rail. The loading and unloading wheel assembly is mounted to a side of the equipment. The guide assembly includes a guide rail mounted to a floor of the container and at least one guide wheel rollably coupled to the guide rail. The guide wheel is mounted to another side of the equipment opposite to the side mounted to the loading and unloading wheel assembly.

Method for Unloading, Transporting and Installing a Railway Track

The invention relates to a method for unloading, transporting and installing a railway track, which does not require the rail-carrying train to be brought closer after each cycle of unloading continuous welded rail (CWR), the train remaining parked at the end of the track already laid until all the CWR has been completely unloaded. According to the invention, the method consists of: fastening two rails to a crane of an unloading wagon and moving same through windows along the wagon, facilitating the descent thereof to the track; transferring the rails to a machine for pulling and positioning which moves along, leaving the rails supported on transport elements that move along the track already laid; transferring the rails from the track already laid to a section of sleepers; and moving the rails to their final position, using sliding elements placed on the sleepers.
